She was very knowledgeable about the areas she serves and was able to let us know about a lot of the areas. Speaking to her knowledge of the builders, she knew the info that pertained to our questions. She was always available to answer any questions or concerns we had or thought of, even when we had to go back to the other state to prepare for our move. Ashley was honest about each area's pros and cons. She was with us to the end of it all and very personable. The experience went as well as we were hoping, thanks to Ashley providing it to us.

ZillowVERIFIED Mike was the 2nd realtor I used the 1st was a disaster. We told her what we were looking, what we weren't and she literally wasted an entire day of ours showing us what we specifically said we didn't want and trying to convince us all we needed was to give "ranch style homes and prefabs" a chance. Then we found Mike, a consummate professional in every aspect. He showed us dozens of houses and there was one my wife and I liked and I will never forget this...the owner had tried to hide some water damage on some of the ceilings. Now to the untrained eye everything looked fine and it would have passed a housing inspection as the problem was "fixed". Regardless we cut our viewing short of the home. I asked Mike why he did that. Maybe because other realtors had set the bar so low regarding their customers I didn't expect much. He told me "Dan, this is a home you and your family will be in for 20 years, I've seen that issue before and it's just a trainwreck waiting to happen. Some people get in this business to make a paycheck but it's a passion for me, my goal is to find a home that everyone of my clients will love" When you hear something like that you always think in your head "Whatever you say buddy" but I don't only feel but truly believe Mike. We had his number and could call him (and did) morning, noon, and night anytime we had a question about something once we found our home and the negotiation started. No voicemails or "Hey let me call you right backs" , everytime we dialed he picked up and was ready to answer anything we had to ask. His knowledge of Northwest Indiana is 2nd to none. Whether it was comparing local school systems, great places to shop, or recommending places off the beaten path to find good food. I also forgot to mention sporting events and festivals! No idea I could catch a minor league baseball game within a half hour drive. And finally let me talk about his negotiation skills. We were able to get our home under the listing price substantially and the seller even paid all closing costs. On top of it our new backyard was an acre and a half and at Mike's suggestion we asked if they would throw in the John Deere still in the garage and the obliged without hesitation. Since then anytime I hear family, friends, or coworkers talking about wanting to buy or sell a home I always recommend Mike because I know he will take great care of them like he did me.

After about 6 weeks of thinking all was progressing for the closing, we found out the lender was not going to provide a loan for the buyer of our house. Mike Tezak found a lender that did approve the buyer and the house finally closed about 5 weeks later.
