ZillowVERIFIED Would NOT recommend. This was one of the worst and most stressful experiences I've had when we were trying to sell our house with the Mike Netzel team. Once he got our listing there was zero communication about when we had offers, when responses and deadlines were, or what we needed to do on our end. We would call, text, and email & get no response back. Two deals fell through with him & when we finally tried to end our listing with him he refused to expire our listing and stopped responding to us which made it impossible for us to move on & work with anyone else. Finally another agent got the listing expired for us and we sold the house with her that same day. Very unprofessional & made the whole process extremely stressful!

ZillowVERIFIED Friends of our had purchased a home through Mike, and they were very pleased. When we were looking for a home, we found one on our own that we liked very much; it was early in the process, but we just happened on it rather quickly. We called Mike and asked him to represent us in the purchase. He gave us good advice throughout the buying process and helped us to negotiate a fair price. Concurrently, he provided positive suggestions to prepare our old house before we put it on the market; he continued "nagging" (a good thing, in this case) until those jobs were completed. He provided good support personnel for the jobs that we could not do ourselves. Mike predicted accurately the exact demographic of the eventual buyers of our home. He chose an outstanding photographer who presented our home in the best possible way. When it was placed on the market, our house sold in less than one day for more than we were asking (with an escalator clause).

ZillowVERIFIED We have known Mr.Netzel for seven years as he was the listing agent for the home we first bought in Ross, Twp. Mr Netzel stayed in touch with us over the period of seven years. My wife and I were interested in upgrading and for the past two years Mr. Netzel set up appointment after appointment but the houses just weren't for us until this past April '16. We found the house we loved and contacted Mr. Netzel immediately who just so happened to be the listing agent. When we decided to get serious Mr. Netzel gave us the best advice a Realtor could give. We put our house on the market and in less than A DAY we had an offer. Mr.Netzel got us under contract with the buyer and we quickly made an offer on the house we wanted. The process to get under contract for both transactions took less than a day and we couldn't be happier in our new home. Mike managed our emotions through the closing process and gave us advice on things to do that we didnt want to hear keep the buyers "at the table". ZillowVERIFIED I went to him because he kept calling me and wanting to know when I wanted to list my condo. When I finally decided to list it I went to Mr. Netzel and told him the unit I wanted to sell. He said yes, he was familiar with it. He gave me a contract and didn't ask many questions about it. He wanted me to sign it. I said no that I wanted to take it home and read it first. The following morning I got up and read it. He had completely filled it out without even any discussion on the asking price. I was horrified. I have a real estate license but have not worked for an agency in years. But where and how he got his information is beyond me. He had to have pulled it out of his hat. I would not recommend him to sell or buy anything.

Those two emails told us perhaps Mr. Netzel was not interested, yet my husband wrote to him advising him we would take care of the financial side, and that the first email did not apply. Rather than an apology, he sent a Pittsburgh multi-list site so we could see what was available, and what we wanted to see. We thought that was Mr. Netzel's job. We have not heard from him in 10 days, which is not a problem for us since we found a responsive and professional agent. We have had the privilege of buying and selling 12 homes so we have had outstanding realtors, and those that are not. Where do you suppose we will place Mr Netzel ?

ZillowVERIFIED Mr. Netzel was primarily interested in closing the sale on the first offer and getting his commission secured quickly. The house was on the market for only a couple weeks in a sellers market. As my agent, he pressured me to drop the price multiple times on the first offer and I strongly felt he worked against me in negotiations . I would recommend house sellers stay away from Mr. Netzel . I would be happy to talk to anyone about his poor performance.
