ZillowVERIFIEDI had an incredibly difficult time and circumstances that made closing on this house a lot more than I feel like most go through for whatever reason and Mike was by my side the entire time. I felt Mike was such a straight shooter he was already representing the seller and I decided to just proceed with using Mike as well. Mike had my back the entire time and for me it was very important, I already owned other property but this was my first HOME. Thank you so much Mike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ZillowVERIFIED Despite inconsistencies in Real Estate online site accuracy and information posting "practices", Mike maintains a level of integrity that flies in the face of conventional industry "professionals". A great deal of the disappointments experienced during the relo process was the abject lack of regard for customer respect (that some properties were even shown is an embarrassment to the listing agent) by his counterparts with other companies. Kudos to Mike and Jim Sullivan for their honesty and concern for reputation and image in a profession (?) desperately in need of cultural transformation.....cw

He always waited until I called and saw one I thought I would like to look at. During that time he has been exceedingly helpful. I felt he always answered my questions honestly, and wasn't afraid to offer an his opinion and suggestion during my search. I was a first time home buyer so he told me when to contact a lawyer and when to get the home inspection done. I highly recommend Mike if you're looking for a place. ZillowVERIFIED I don't even know where to begin with this review as working with Mike was a completely honor. We got to know Mike over the past few months as we began looking for property out in the Galena, IL region. The second my wife and I met Mike we knew he was the only person we wanted to work with. Mike was never pushy...he understood quickly what we were looking for and would be open and honest with us when we would send him properties we saw online and ask "hey, what do you think." Every couple weeks we would connect and he would shoot over any new listing he thought may fit our needs. At a showing he would walk through and point out various aspects of the property but give us our space to talk about it between my wife and I. Any questions we had Mike would get answered right away. Whether it be about property lines or when service was done on the house...if he didn't know right away we had something back within 24 hours. Mike is the type of guy that you feel like if you were buying a house from him you'd want to be friends with the guy. Honest, hard working, easy to talk with, and laid back. If you're looking for a place in that region you have to use Mike Mahoney.
