ZillowVERIFIEDI'd give 10 stars if i could!! Mike Goins was way more than i could have asked for in our search for a new home in Texas. We were moving from Oklahoma, had a list of things we wanted a budget and 1 weekend to find a home. On just a couple days notice he took a list of i think 14 homes all in different areas and drove us from place to place. When we got back home things on our home there had changed and it ended up being another 6 months before we were really ready to find a home. I messaged him again, out of nowhere with a huge list of homes and 2 days to see them all in. Once again, he could have easily said no, he could have easily left us in a bind, but he jumped on board had the homes scheduled and drove us all over the place looking at them. Of course, during all of this everything we thought we wanted and didn't want flip flopped at least 20 times. I knew we were a mess, but you would have never known from him. He was extremely kind, very knowledgeable, always willing to help with anything he could and in the end, we were able to find a home that has been perfect for us since the first day we moved in three weeks ago. I would and will recommend him to ANYONE looking for realtor. Again, he made himself available every time we needed him, he's very knowledgeable, he worked with us from another state, He was always very kind and listened to everything we needed even if it continuously changed. And he helped us find the perfect home! I hope this is my forever home, but if for some reason it's not, I would never consider using anyone other than Mike. ZillowVERIFIED Back in the 60's my parents purchased some building lots in Conroe TX. Getting close to retirement I thought it time to do some consolidating of assets. Knowing nothing of the real estate market or a realtor I used what everyone does now a days: Google, the BBB and MLS. Mike Goins name came up again and again. I reached out to Mike and less than 24 hrs I received a phone call. Mike was very informative as to the market in the area my lot was located and said he would be pleased to help me with my sale. Mike was always prompt and very helpful with any correspondence that we had during the whole process. It was painless, very quick and extremely efficient. The title company he also works with was amazing as well. The whole process took about 3 weeks. The one thing I should mention is all of this took place via internet and cell phone. ZillowVERIFIED I have moved around the country quite a bit and bought and sold a number of homes. I have worked with many realtors who were considered to be among the best in the area at the time. With that being said, Michael Goins is one the exceptional standouts I have worked with. Mike was very patient with us as we looked for property in Montgomery while we had our house on the market hours away from Montgomery. During the time it took to sell our previous home and relocate he provided important relevant information about the housing market here. This enabled us to become familiar with the all options we had. By the time we sold our house we were confident of the type of property that would meet our desires and needs. Consequently, we were able to close on our purchase one week after closing on selling our previous home. Mike did an excellent job of keeping us apprised on new properties going on the market. We became aware of the property that we ultimately purchased the day it went on the market, visited it and knew right away that it was exactly what we were looking for. We were the first to make an offer and although several other offers were in the works, the sellers selected our offer. ZillowVERIFIED Mike helped us out this summer when we were searching for and attempting to buy a lot in Montgomery County. We contacted him, having never met him before and he agreed to meet us the next day to show us some gated neighborhoods with lots for sale. This was very helpful and timely because we didn't know the neighborhoods and didn't have any realtor connections in the area. Those lots didn't work out so Mike set up a search with our criteria and a few weeks later a "perfect" lot came up in yet a different neighborhood. We looked at the lot and determined we wanted to make an offer. We worked with Mike and within about 6 hours we successfully negotiated and had a fully executed contract from scratch - all without leaving home. Mike continued to assist/advise all the way through closing a few weeks later. We found Mike to be a very honest and no nonsense realtor, which in our experience is hard to come by these days.
