Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Start by speaking to an experienced mortgage broker. As a lender myself, I can tell you how important it is to know your budget and what you qualify for. Once you have a budget and know your future payment, it is time to go shopping.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Listen to what the market is telling you. An experienced agent should be able to show you if the market is favoring sellers or buyers. The data doesn't lie, so look at comparable sold homes and see what they are truly selling for. The more you stage, obtain great photos, etc the more you will get. Find an agent who knows how to market a property on social media. We are in a digital world and you need an expert in digital marketing.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I've worked with million dollar sellers/buyers and 200k clients as well. I'm very versatile in every demographic. I know what is needed to sell luxury homes, and I know what is needed to sell median priced homes. They can vastly differ.

Q: 4. How did you get started in Real Estate?

I got started in 2008 because it seemed like an interesting career. Fast forward to now, I am ranked in the top 3% of agents in the nation. This is not just a job but a passion.

Q: 5. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

I'm also a licensed mortgage broker, which gives me great knowledge in what the client's should expect when starting the home buying journey. Mortgages are complicated so I like to educate and help my clients understand the process from start to closing.

We had the 7 Year Itch, and decided to sell our current home, and buy a larger new home. At that point, we contacted Mike. He came to our current home, discussed items we could do to make our house sell for a higher amount, and listed our house. It sold quickly and we are thankful for Mike's advice and diligent negotiations on our behalf throughout the process. Next, Mike showed us all of the properties we were interested in purchasing, and did an awesome job on contract negotiations with the other agent. Mr. Diener had the task of selling my home that was located off of a busy street. The home was somewhat dated but Mr. Diener gave me tips on what to repair and areas to focus, prior to listing the residence. Mr. Diener was very knowledgable on my area and ran comps for me. He came to the house and took photos and set me up for showings. I hate talking on the phone so he set me up to receive texts for showings as it was convienient for me. For various reasons, mostly the age of the house I went under contract a few times as buyers pulled out. Mr. Diener never gave up on selling the house and ultimately he sold my house in just over one month. Keep in mind this was prior to the real estate boom. Mr. Diener got me to closing and assisted me in everyday possible, he answered his phone every time I called I don't think I had to leave a single message for him. I ultimately moved out of state and Mr. Diener set me up with an out of state agent as he has various connections. I am not over rating giving 5 stars in every category, I would give 6 if it was possible. This stressful process was made so much easier with Mr. Diener and his knowledge, understanding and desire to help!

Mike was referred by a friend and colleague when we were looking to sell our home and purchase a new one. He had answers to any issues that arose.
