About Miguel Vargas
I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate here. My experience is based on both residential and commercial property management as well as working with real estate sales. I have been in the real estate industry since 1991 and have followed the ups and downs all along the way. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. I am eager to serve you. Here are some of the things I can do for you: You need someone who knows this area inside and out! I can work with you to find the right home at the right price for you, including all the neighborhood amenities that matter - not to mention the essential criteria you have for your ideal home. When it's time to move, you need someone who will advertise your home, show to prospective buyers, negotiate the purchase contract, arrange financing, oversee the inspections, handle all necessary paperwork and supervise the closing. I can take care of everything you need, from start to close. Oftentimes buyers don't visualize living in your home the way you do. I can make your home attractive to its ideal audience - which can help you get top dollar. Things like staging the home, making repairs or minor improvements, or even simply painting the walls can be the difference between a home resting on the market and one that's sold fast. I would love to help you with your real estate needs, so don't hesitate to give me a call!

FAQ
When you start your home search the best thing to do it get pre-approved right away! This way you're able to budget your expenses and stay focused on listings that are in your range. The next best thing to do is work with your realtor expressing your "needs and wants" so that you are able to view properties most applicable within your parameters. And lastly, be persistent.
Living in your home while putting it on the market can be challenging so there are many steps to prepare in getting there. First and foremost, you must consider the value of your home to set a list price. The realtor will help you by providing comparable sales in your area and giving sound advice in pricing strategically according to the current market. The best showings take place when a home has been cleared of unecessary items and personal things that can detract a buyer's eye. While it can be hard to put these items away a great way to look at it is that you're getting a jump start on packing. Finally, if there are any updates you may want to complete during this process, make sure they are things that will add value to your home. Projects such as painting, or carpeting are great ideas but considering a kitchen remodel or finishing the basement are not in your best interest.
I have worked with all kinds of clients in many capacities over my career. Being a "people person" I thrive on the interaction with my clients and enjoy the social aspect just as much as the working value. The basics of real estate are the same everywhere you go it's just the people who make a difference.
I had an out of state client looking for a townhouse at the height of the pandemic. They were unable to fly out at the time and we ended up performing the entire transaction remotely. This means they had never seen the unit in person until the transaction was over. This was such a big responsibility to make sure they were making the right decision and a rather creative time for my industry. A lot of things could have gone wrong on my end had it not been for the systems I use to keep me on top of each step. This in turn helps bring my clients peace of mind in a time that can sometimes worry them as we inch closer to closing day.
I started out in my late teens managing commercial properties. It was then someone suggested that I should get my real estate license early on, but I didn't take it to heart until much later. It's been my best career move because I truly enjoy what I do. I promise you'll see this as we work together.
