ZillowVERIFIED This was my first experience buying a house. Michelle and her team were phenomenal. At our first meeting, Michelle quickly figured out exactly what I was looking for in a house and was able to show me dozens of listings online that I hadn't found. One of the houses she showed me was immediately my dream house. We went to the open house that Saturday and I knew I wanted to make an offer. In spite of being with another client all afternoon, she still had my offer in by 5PM. There were multiple offers on the house at the same price, my bid won because it was cleanest offer, all the right details and everything in place. During inspections, Michelle or one of her team members was always present. My house was built in the 70s, Michelle knew exactly what types of construction and building materials were used in ABQ at the time and knew the potential issues to watch out for in inspection. For example, she recommended adding an inspection of the ductwork, which identified minor problems. We were able to get the repair fees taken out of my final costs.In addition to her impressive skills and professionalism, Michelle was a lot of fun to work with. I even felt a little disappointed that I found a house so quickly and didn't get to spend more time with her.

ZillowVERIFIED I've worked with several realtors over the years and Michelle is top notch.I'm an Engineer by trade and focus a lot on knowing all of the facts, looking at comps, and digging into the details on each home we saw. After working with a few other realtors and being disappointed, I was upfront with Michelle on what I was looking for.She always came to our meetups to see properties - well research, prepared, and on her A-game. She was able to give useful insights at each home we went to. I'd spend probably 1/2 my time at each property asking her questions and digging into the details.She also did a great job negotiating on our behalf. She was respectful of my initial thoughts, and had good facts to support her view and was able to convince me to go with her suggested offer. Granted, sometimes you win and lose, but we spoke to the original owner after buying the property and he told me they had ignored an earlier off which came in at what I had suggested to Michelle.I think she had a great bead on things and again, being studious and on top of her game, she was confident in what was an appropriate offer given the various circumstances.Additionally, after the sale, on the first night in the home we discovered a problem that was missed during the inspection. She took our complaint seriously and was able to get us in touch with the right people to get it solved at no cost to us. This made us feel like she takes care of her own even beyond the closing process.For me, she was amazing and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend her and would absolutely work with her again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED If you are looking for a knowledgeable, personable, professional, hard working, responsive realtor you need not look any further. We used Michelle to sell my mother-in-laws house and wifes uncles house. Both houses sold at a good market price and in record time (3 days and a couple weeks respectively). Then we decided to sell our home and used Michelle as our realtor. After signing the contract she takes care of everything required to sell your home and purchase another, Michelle has a real estate staff as well as direct access to inspectors and general contractors to provide an almost seamless transition from selling and closing your home to buying and closing on your new home. If your are not home or available for scheduled inspections or contracted repairs her staff will open the house and make it available to keep closing on schedule. She has in depth knowledge of the real estate market in Albuquerque and surrounding area. When my wife and I wanted to look at a house I dont believe we waited more than 24 hours after notifying Michelle and when she escorted us to the appointment. She can recommend mortgage and title companies. She is a task master and is diligent about keeping the process on schedule meeting the closing date(s). She was always responsive to our emails and text messages even when she was out of town. I dont think we waited more than an hour for a response on any correspondence with her. She is on top of everything. We found our dream home in Paa-Ko. Between initial offers and appraisal results there were a couple iterations of negotiation and Michelle advised us and negotiated a final price that my wife and I were extremely happy with. Whats more, when it came to moving I asked Michell if she could recommend a mover. She sent a recommendation in two minutes. The company she recommended provided a firm fix price. The two movers I contacted only provided an estimate for the move. The mover Michelle recommended was $600 below the aEURoeestimateaEUR? the other two movers provided. If you want a realtor that removes the stress from the selling and buying process, is responsive and provides value added service in assisting you from the initial offer to closing, I highly recommend Michelle Smith a true real estate professional!

ZillowVERIFIED Michelle was very knowledgeable with the local market conditions and recommended a selling price that provided to be right on. Our house sold in the first 24 hours for the asking price. Some might say we priced the house too low but in fact I think the quick purchase offer proved just the opposite and eliminated the timely and ultimately costly process of negotiating the price down which can turn into a contemptuous ordeal. We are please we had none of that. Michelle and Gannon were extremely helpful and were willing to do anything for us to make the process as easy as possible.
