ZillowVERIFIEDI am writing this review as Michelle is closing on the sale of our Greensboro rental property. How did we select Michelle to direct, manage and close our property sale? Because we had firsthand experience with Michelle when she sold our primary home in Greensboro a few years ago. At that time, we researched other real estate agencies and their agents and asked to speak to them further about their resumes. When Michelle met with us at our home, we immediately recognized her professionalism, real estate market knowledge and her people skills. Michelle had already prepared her marketing plan. She reviewed how she would market our home, with advertising, property photos, etc.. Michelle involved us in determining our asking price, after she showed us comparable houses sold. After that Michelle managed the whole process , negotiating to obtain our full asking price and selling the house in a very short time. So, no research was needed this time. We contacted Michell from Wilmington and gave her the address of the property to sell. Same professional process as before. We talked together through several options to sell the property. One of which was to sell it directly to an investor at a very low price due to upgrades that would be required. Michelle decided it was worth the effort to put on the market as is, at a significantly higher price than the real estate investors were offering. The result was the sale of the property at a 50% higher price than offered by the real estate investors. If that wasnt enough, when I decided to do a 1031 exchange, Michelle offered advice and information about converting the standard sale into a 1031 sale . In one example, Michelle pointed to a payment I had received from the sale and advised me to send it back so as not to jeopardize the 1031 exchange rules. I also must tell you that I never went to Greensboro or met Michelle during this sale. We communicated regularly by phone and email. Michelle arranged for the house to be cleaned and met with potential buyers, keeping us abreast of what was happening. She managed all the sales and legal documents with the buyers broker and closed with no issues! That is the confidence we have in Michelle! ZillowVERIFIEDOMG!!! There are not enough words to explain how wonderful Michelle and her assistant Mary Ellen were. My parents have not brought a house in over 40 years and the process has changed since then. They were so patience even when my parents kept going back and forth on what they wanted. She would offer valuable input and was always timely in responding to questions. Michelle had a long talk with them and finally help them to figure out what was really important to them. Even though the process took some time, my parents eventually found the perfect home for them. They are so excited and we all sing Michelle and Mary Ellen praises. They are an awesome team and it was a pleasure to work with them. I recommended them to anyone!!!

ZillowVERIFIEDExtremely happy and pleased with Michelle and her assistant. They were very responsive to our questions and helping us to get the home that was perfect for us!!! She knew much about the real estate market and when we toured the homes she looked at details that as home buyers we did not notice. She pointed out the good and the bad things. She just didn't sell us a house but she found the right one. Never felt that she was rushing us to buy and always ready to show my daughter and me more houses. She spent much time going through the settlement papers explaining everything that made it easy to understand. I can't say enough great things about her & I highly recommend her whether you are a buyer or seller. Very knowledgeable about today's market & the challenges!!
