ZillowVERIFIEDWe used Michelle Kauffman to buy a house in Lubbock. Michelle Kauffman was the buyer's agent representing us, and was used as the seller's agent representing the seller. Michelle Kauffman was difficult to work with but we made the deal happen. Since we were out of state buyers we never even met her in person! Michelle Kauffman decided not to show up to give the keys or anything related to the home. Michelle Kauffman also did not tell us (as buyers) the appraisal value of the property. It came in a lot less than the contract price we had with the sellers. Being cash buyers it would affect how we paid. No one wants to pay above appraisal value! She refused to disclose this info. Along with all the 99 items that were wrong with the home and the entire seller's disclosure was a fraud. Michelle Kauffman is not transparent and very dishonest. ? However, over a year has passed and its come to our attention Michelle Kauffman has told and given our information regarding the transaction of our property to another third party. This third party has falsely accused us of harassment, threatened our livelihood, and sent law enforcement to our house for no reason but to threaten us based on their assumptions not facts! Michelle Kauffman gave the third party personal and confidential information regarding the transaction of the property we bought a year ago. Michelle Kauffman is a real estate licensee who has a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and contact information, and details related to real estate transactions. Realtors in TEXAS have a duty to keep client information confidential, including personal and transaction details, and generally cannot disclose such information to third parties unless required by law or with the client's consent. We did not consent to having any or partial information released to a third party who is basically harassing and slandering us or to anyone else! Michelle Kauffman is unprofessional. Highly do not recommend Michelle Kauffman.
