ZillowVERIFIED Michelle has an extensive knowledge of the real estate in southeastern NC and was very helpful in locating homes for sale in the Wilmington/Leland area. Within a few days of meeting with her, she notified us that she had some homes for us to see. Once we decided on a property, she gave excellent guidance in helping us determine the amount that we would initially offer the seller. The house needed to be painted inside and needed new carpet. The owner countered our first offer and Michelle advised us on the amount to put forward as a counter offer. We signed a contract to purchase for close to $10,000 less than the offering price. Michelle has a network of individuals that were able to assist us in the purchase of the new home. She had her painting contractor give us an estimate to paint the inside of the home and scheduled him to start painting a few days after we closed on the sale. She also contacted her carpeting contractor who assisted us in selecting the carpet we wanted and even scheduled the installation of the carpet for us. She also was able to put us in touch with the mortgage lender, the closing attorney's office a title company, a home insurance company. We really appreciated her help with these contacts because it made the purchase go so smoothly as she closely communicated with each of these contacts and stayed on top of deadlines. Michelle sent us an accomplishments/to do list every week so that we knew the status of every process that was being completed and what we needed to complete and when. My husband and I have bought many homes in our lifetime. This was the best experience we have ever had! Michelle also helped us with the sale of our townhome and thanks to her suggestions about decluttering, the price point for our house and constant monitoring we were able to get a contract on our home within 3 weeks of listing it for sale. ZillowVERIFIED Michelle understood how the market had been changing for townhomes in my area. She got a higher price than I had imagined. She got my property listed and sold quickly so that I could move forward with my new home purchase. When the inspectors to-do list came in Michelle knew all the right assignments to make to vendors. I thought I could never make it through all the deadlines and paperwork. She calmly kept touch with me and helped me, and we got it all done. I had remembered Michelles name as being the listing agent of my home when I had been the buyer. I'm so glad I did! Ive had good real estate agents in past moves but Michelle was outstanding! I was dreading the sale and the move. It was hard, I dont think I could have done it without her.
