ZillowVERIFIEDMichele was exactly who we needed for this sale to happen. I had moved out of town and the PREVIOUS realtor was a disaster. So we had to fly back and oversee work that needed to done on this 40+ year old house in order for it to sell (work the previous realtor was supposed to have done and that we had actually paid for). While interviewing new realtors, we had a request that ended up being like an interview challenge: "Find an HVAC contractor who we can pay to be here in the next 4 days to do some unusual work (that our regular guy couldn't do)." Michele gave us the name of someone, work was done that Saturday while I flew out on Sunday. We hired Michele to list the house and we started having viewings right away. Michele made suggestions on what we could do to help sell the house other than just lowering the price. We followed her suggestions and the house was sold, nearly for the asking price. At closing time, of course there were more things that needed to be done, and quickly. With us out of town, Michele was able to provide reliable contacts who we could call and have work done without having to be there to supervise.What really worked out best with Michele was that she was knowledgable about what our house had going for it and against it, and used that to help target how we sold the house. Then equally important, she had the local contacts to get various contractors in quickly to take care of all the details at closing time.

ZillowVERIFIEDUnprofessional, as well as I didn't think she was working in my best interest. Quotes of repair contractors she brought were 4-10 times higher than my quotes. Are expensive contractors always more reliable with better repair qualities? However, I couldn't walk away because of strings attached, which is opposite to a piece of online real estate advice. "buyer/seller would owe the realtor nothing if buyer/seller didn't buy or sell anything. Generally Realtors do not get paid unless a closing occurs. It is one of the risks of doing business in real estate"

We decided to ask for recommendations on social media and again was overwhelmed by responses of realtors begging for us to choose them because they would get the job done. Michele simply commented that she was an agent.Since we knew of her from our boys playing sports together we decided to call and ask her for recommendations on choosing an agent. My husband and I were both shocked that she never once said "I'm the best, choose me". She provided some suggestions for choosing realtors and advice on different things to consider. One of those suggestions was to interview different realtors in order to determine who would be right for us. After these recommendations, we scheduled multiple interviews which included Michelle. Michelle's professionalism and approach was impeccable. She was extremely organized, provided a detailed work schedule, reviewed her marketing plan (A+), and spent invaluable time answering a barrage of questions regarding the process we were about to embark upon. Her candor and dedication to her job immediately stood out during our interview and we knew she was the perfect person for the job and our family.We were not in a huge hurry to sell and figured it would take a while being that or property is a good distance from town and most people like to be closer.Michele did awesome on our comps even though it was a struggle because of it being so secluded. Once our listing went online we were blown away! The pictures were professional and she knocked it out the park. So much so that we had a viewing scheduled the next morning and an offer put in that very afternoon! This resulted in a contract being finalized less than one week after taking photos of the home. Due to her experience and commitment there were zero set backs and closing was executed on time as scheduled. Selling a home is a stressful time but Michele was the calm through the stress and chaos as we prepared to sell. Michele provided guidance in the listing price based on comparable homes in the area, what to expect from prospective buyers, coordinated the showings, and ultimately (and very quickly I might add) the sale and closing of the home. In purchasing land, Michele took the time to get to know what we were looking for not just in location and price but down to the specific things such as how many trees we wanted on the land, commute time from Baton Rouge, distance to the interstate, etc. She didn't waste our time looking at property that didn't meet the criteria we were looking for and in the end recommended a piece of land we hadn't considered. Turns out she knew what we were looking for more than we did and after the first visit to the property we knew it was the location we wanted!!!Michele is the person you want to have on your team whether you're buying or selling!
