The first home that we looked at had been on the market for a little while and went under contract before we could place an offer. Michele said that she would keep a watch for any homes that listed in the area. She asked us about our needs for a new home and went to work. Not only did she find one property, she found us two homes in the desired area. The first one was close but didn't fit exactly. The second one was perfect. Not only that but she was able to show us the house before it was published on the multi-list. She was excellent at negotiations and we were able to purchase our perfect move-in ready house at a perfect price. She continued to assist us with the paperwork and was very responsive to our questions. In short she made the whole process go smoother than any other home sale that we ever experienced. She is hard working and honest, a strong negotiator and very kind. We are so happy that we found her. When we first connected with her, we were in the process of ending a contract with an agent who just wasn't a good fit for us, and Michele was patient with us and supportive while we sorted that process out. Once we were officially ready to work together, we hit the ground running! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the greater Pittsburgh area, guiding us as new listings came up so we had the best chance for success in our search. To say it was a whirlwind day is an understatement. There is no one else that could've done what Michele did for us on that day. I mean it when I say that no one works as hard as she does - it's just in her DNA. Not only is she wonderful to work with, but her network of trusted professionals throughout the home buying process were wonderful as well. The lending company and inspector she introduced us to were second to none. The lender was not only the most competitive in terms of rates, but they gave a personal touch the entire way through that made my husband and I feel confident that we were in good hands and would close on-time, without any issues. And that is exactly what happened! We were able to close in 30 days (mind you, this fell in December over Christmas!) and had the ability to call our lender contact at any time for guidance. I told Michele many times that even though when we find a house I'll be very happy, I will also miss having an excuse to talk to her every week! She genuinely wanted to find me a safe sturdy home in a safe place, which means so much to me as a single woman who's not originally from this area. If she noticed something off with the house we went to see, she would straight away lay it down honestly. I absolutely never felt she was just trying to sell me a house, she was looking for my first HOME. When I finally found the house I knew I wanted, she did everything she could to make it mine. With Michele's years of servicing the Pittsburgh area she also provided what proved to be excellent recommendations for a mortgage agent, home inspector, sewer inspector and home insurance provider. She walked me through every step of the buying process, pointed out things to keep an eye on as we were shopping, and helped make the first time buying process as smooth as possible. Over the next several years, she was very helpful with other "first time homeowner" questions (feedback on home upgrades, recommendations for local contractors, etc). I wouldn't expect that level of support from most realtors (after all, they don't make a commission on answering home ownership questions), but Michele truly cares about helping her clients before, during, and after the business portion of the interaction. And she helped get the house on the market and sold as easily and quickly as possible when it was time to move. She even went above and beyond when I was moving to another state, and helped me find a realtor in that area that was just as helpful as she was.

Thank goodness for Michele because within just minutes of talking to her on the phone I knew it wasn't going to be as scary as I thought. Turns out it was actually an incredibly smooth and painless process thanks to her. We talked about what type of home/area I was looking for and she sent me tons of great options within hours. She set up tours of the few that I really liked and we were walking through them that weekend.
