ZillowVERIFIED Becoming first home-buyers is tough and stressful, and doing just that remotely (from NYC) makes it all that much tougher. However, working with Claudia Lopez truly made all the difference in the process from start to finish. We cannot recommend Claudia enough from the amazing experience and connection we've made. We were referred to Claudia by our friends' REMax agent since they just closed on a home in Maryland remotely as well. While it took us a few months to finally find the house, Claudia kindly visited and faced-timed us whenever we found a top contender. When we finally found "the one", the market was still really competitive, Yet, Claudia continuously thought of ways to make sure we stayed competitive -- including coming up with a credit negotiation plan to help offset the home price! Most of all, we knew Claudia was reliable and was on top of everything: from working around our odd hours, aligning inspectors into very tight schedules, to corralling the title and lender companies to meet really narrow closing timelines. As a bonus, we were very surprised how connected Claudia is with the Bay Area communities. Have a paint job, need a gardener, need to buy a new washer/drier because the house never came with one, or are you interested in getting into yoga? Claudia honestly knows someone for everything and is so supportive in connecting us to the right people! We have been in contact with her even after closing to spruce up the house and get acquainted with our new community. ZillowVERIFIED I had a short notice to transfer and move out of state with my Company. I met Claudia through co-workers and liked her personality and ease when interacting with people. I figured she'd be a pleasant Realtor to work with. What I came to find is that my assumption that Claudia would be a good working partner with was correct. What I hadn't realized prior to working with her is that she is tenacious, highly focused, professional and yes, very friendly and an absolute pleasure. Because I had a short timetable to work with she and Michael Mau visited my home one afternoon and explained the brief steps together we could take to get the house on the market and sell in a compressed timeline. From there Claudia literally did everything for me. I cannot stress how much Claudia took off my plate, there was a lot I could have been worrying about but she was always one step ahead of me. She is incredibly efficient. She had various contractors over to complete small tasks that collectively would have taken me ages to accomplish by attempting to find quality people via yelp or word of mouth. She has a network of skilled, trustworthy and qualified people, which was a massive time saver. In situations when my Husband or I couldn't be present for any work or inspections, Claudia came to our house to manage the workflow in our absence. When the pest inspector had trouble fitting under a section of my home, Claudia changed her clothes and personally crawled under my house to make sure all debris were removed so we could complete the pest inspection. When there were viewings and I wasn't able to get my housecat relocated and out of the home, she verified his location before exiting the home to tour the back yard and before leaving for each viewing. When the house was in escrow and my Husband and I were hauling a u-haul across the country, there was a concern for the safety of my home. Claudia went to the hardware store to install additional locks, lights and other security measures. She spoke to my neighbors and set up a phone and text tree in case there were any concerns from the neighbors about the vacant home. And she did all this after sunset, on a dark winter night. Claudia is amazing. I wish she lived in my new location so she could sell my house when I inevitably move again. Of the many Realtors I've worked with in the past, she is operating at a level far above the rest. Claudia absolutely project managed every step of preparing my home for sale and ultimately, we never had to formally put it on the market. We received an offer $30k above asking price and were able to avoid having to set up tours of our home during the pandemic. This was possible because she tailored the pre-market marketing to ensure our house was seen and would attract serious buyers.I could continue to rave about Claudia, if you take away one thing from my experience with Claudia is that she is an exceeds expectations, gold star, high five, #1 foam finger, A+, incredible Relator Professional. She is truly amazing and she will be my personal gold standard for Realtors forever more.

After a brief intro, we scheduled a zoom call where she gave us a presentation on the home buying process. Being first time buyers, we didn't really know what we were in for, but we felt comfortable with Claudia right off the bat. We were able to schedule tours of homes right away, and when the ones we saw didn't fit, Claudia didn't hesitate to get us a last minute showing of a house new to the market. We met with Michael and told him of our plan to sell our Vallejo home and upgrade to a bigger house out of town. ZillowVERIFIED In early February, this year, I had the mission to purchase an apartment in one day. The flat had to be pretty, safe, and at a low price, all in 30 minutes driving maximum distance from Berkeley University. I was returning from San Diego via Oakland to my destination Florida. My time in the SF Bay area was only for just two days. We needed to be in March in the San Francisco Bay area. I was lucky at getting Rachel representing me. My plane was on time, arriving in Oakland. I had an appointment with Rachel Mau (I had not met her before-Zillow recommended) at one of the apartments I wanted to visit. She was there waiting for me. By 3 pm on my arrival (I arrived at 10 am in Oakland), Rachel had shown me three apartments. I had chosen a beautiful condo. I asked Rachel to present a lower-than-asking-price offer and have a "yes" or "no" that evening. I also requested that I need someone to perform an inspection the following morning; if the offer was accepted. The proposal was accepted-she negotiated hard on my behalf. Also, that morning, Rachel and the inspector were there; the condo inspection was right. I could catch my flight the following morning, and by the end of the month, the deal was closed. Mission impossible we accomplished smoothly, thank you to Rachel.But the help I got from Rachel at selecting the right apartment and closing the deal did not stop there. Due to COVID, we got strained in Florida. She sent to clean the condo professionally (it was clean, but Rachel wanted I find it impeccable). She helped me move my car at my parking space while I could not do it myself (because of COVID). Furthermore, she checked the apartment to see that all is in order while I had not yet moved.I cannot think of any Realtor that can do so much for you. I greatly appreciate her help and thoroughly recommend her services. I feel I have a new friend!She is a multitasking person. She was super-fast at getting the deals through and at negotiating on my behalf a fair price. She is prompt to go the extra mile to help and accommodate other people's needs.
