ZillowVERIFIED I didn't know where to start before I met him. Very knowledgeable in probates and trusts. I showed him a copy of the will and trust and he knew exactly what to do to get this started. I barely had time to grieve and had no time to be out of state and away from my business. I visited my mother's house only once and every detail was taken care of. thank you for everything.

ZillowVERIFIED My family has been very blessed to have Micheal Delgado as our Realtor! Two years ago I needed a Realtor in Ventura County to help me sell my grandmother's home in Port Hueneme. I live out of the area and I didn't know of a good Realtor, so I searched on Zillow. I found Micheal and gave him a call. I knew as soon as we talked that he was the right Realtor for the job. Since that call, he has helped us through two very difficult real estate transactions. The first was selling my grandmother's home which had not been updated since the 1960's, all while I live 4 hours away. Michael helped to facilitate the clean up and renovations before the sale, watered the grass so it wouldn't die, and so much more, going above and beyond what the typical agent would do. Shortly after escrow closed on my grandmother's house, my father unexpectedly passed away. I contacted Micheal to assist me with the sale of my father's house in Santa Paula. This house had a lot of extraordinary challenges, including extensive fire damage, and at times I wasn't sure if it would sell. Michael again went above and beyond to get the home sold. He was always patient, encouraging, positive, and kind during this difficult time. Our family can't thank him enough for everything he did to sell this house. Thank you Michael, you were a godsend for our family.

ZillowVERIFIED Michael went above and beyond our expectations marketing and selling our home. From the beginning he kept us informed about showings and realtor feedback. We really appreciated that he kept in touch with realtors whose clients had shown interest in our property. Once an offer was accepted he made the closing process run smoothly even with a relocation company involved. Michael also showed us that he is not only a professional realtor, but also an exceptional person. During an open house, I had to return home due to a medical emergency. When my condition worsened he calmly drove me to the ER and stayed with me until they treated me. Thank you, Michael! My husband and I highly recommend Michael. Overall a great experience!

ZillowVERIFIED Michael is a very professional real estate broker. His ability to interact with one or more clients with great ease, and his extensive knowledge in all areas of selling or buying a property was greatly appreciated. He always was willing to explain and answer any questions posed by the family. Michael is especially good at communicating with all parties involved and ensures that important dates are met in a timely manner. Our entire family was very pleased with Michael's assistance in helping us with the sale of our family estate. Michael will be the first person we call for any future real estate transactions.

ZillowVERIFIED As a value investor, tired of the over priced property in Orange County I explored opportunities in Ventura and made many trips there on weekends to get a feel for the market by cruising around looking for open house signs. Three trips in a row at the houses I viewed , there was Michael Delgato. Each time I I spoke with him I was more impressed with his local market knowledge and how explained he worked the network of properties that were not yet on the MLS. I figured I'd give him a try, he contacted me shortly thereafer with an estate sale fixer in the Avenue, We strategized how to get the attention of the administrator with our offer, and put the deal in escrow. Subsequent disclosures revealed significant issues with the property and Michael was instrumental in negotiating compensation and kept the deal alive. While this was still in escrow we came across a foreclosure and Michael worked artfully with the bank in getting this one into escrow as well and again negotiated allowances for deficiencies unseen when the original offer was made. Michael closed both these properties. If you are not an expert in Ventura real estate , you need an Expert- Give Michael a try.

ZillowVERIFIED Outstanding! Would be the word I would use to describe Michaels service. As a Real Estate investor, homeowner and a former Realtor, I have probably conducted more Real Estate transactions than the average person. He is by far, the best and most knowledgeable Realtor I have ever dealt with when selling a property. I can honestly say that Michael is a professional through and through. From the moment he walks into your home you will notice the professionalism, knowledge, honesty and fair dealing that are characteristics of his practice. My only regret is not having have found him sooner.

ZillowVERIFIED The service provided by Michael Delgado was of the highest standard. He was highly knowledgeable about the market, offered excellent advice, was both personable and professional, and his attention to detail was very insightful. There was nothing left to chance as he guided every aspect of any business at hand. As a real estate investor and multiple property owner I have dealt with many agents over the years. Michael Delgado was far and away the BEST I have ever encountered. I know all agents must receive some training but Michael's knowledge and experience clearly point out how lacking other agents are in comparison. The man is a truly exceptional Professional in his field!

ZillowVERIFIED We were about to short sale our home, but Michael told us to wait until spring and we may be able to walk away even. He held on for a few more months and we sold our home with a regular sale and didn't hurt my credit. I've seen Michael in my neighborhood for many years and he seems to know is stuff pretty good. I'm glad he helped us sell and I saved my credit. I will use Michael Delgado again when I'm ready to buy.

ZillowVERIFIED I'm a private investor. I had to take back this property as bad debt. I called on Michael Delgado for his experience in his REO and bank owned properties. I called on other REO agents but Michael stood out. Since I don't take back too many loans I wasn't too sure what questions to ask. Michael brought up many solutions to my concerns before I knew what to ask for. It was obviously that this wasn't this first rodeo so I allowed him to manage and market of this property. I visited the property once and never needed to come back. He's very competent with listings over $1million. Job well done.

ZillowVERIFIED I've been watching values in the harbor area for about a year before I spoke with any broker. I've received some good quality advertisement from many brokers. The information I received from Michael Delgado really caught my eye. After my wife and I spoke to a few other brokers, he stood out among the brokers who work inside the harbor. I was more than impressed with his experience and professionalism and would recommend him to others.

ZillowVERIFIED Looking now at the rising property prices, I'm sad I sold. Michael helped me short sell when I needed to clean my credit and rid me of a stressful situation. Sometimes you need to regroup. Michael was recommended from a coworker for the same short sale services. I have no more bills - I can breath - and I'm ready to start dreaming again. Thank you Michael

ZillowVERIFIED Mike helped me by a bank owned property. I spoke with a few realtors while searching for a home. I've learned that most realtors are the same. They are all willing to help and rarely answer their phones. Mike Delgado on the other hand was very responsive and we talked at 9:30 at night to calm my nerves. and of all the realtors I spoke to, Mike know more about bank owned properties than anyone I have ever met. He understands the banks systems and could estimate how many days on the market a bank will decide to reduce a price. I got a great price for my home. I wanted to bit a higher price but Mike had a better strategy that saved me about $15,000 had I not listened to him. I now have over $100,000 in equity.

ZillowVERIFIED I just checked my house value on Zillow and I've just learned I have over $100,000 in equity. Never in my wildest dreams would have believed I could build so much equity. Michael was very easy to work with and made a stressful situation easier. This is my first home so I was very nervous. Very very nervous. Michael broke it down for me to make a decision based on what he knew about distressed short sales. My house I bought wasn't even on the market but he had the inside scoop that the sellers wanted to sell. I owe Michael my gratitude.

ZillowVERIFIED I bought a short sale from Michael. He was helpful and I believe I got a good deal on it. He was recommended to me by a friend. He knows his stuff. He's a great negotiator and understands distressed properties more than any other realtor. He sometimes takes Sundays off and that's when I needed him the most to answer my questions. He always got back to me then next day even though as was stressed out from the buying process and he really helped with calming my nerves. I would use him again to buy my next house.

ZillowVERIFIED We had a tough time selling our home due to an increasingly volatile market and a difficult initial buyer (whom eventually fell through before our final buyer). Quite simply, we would have failed without Michael. He helped navigate us through an increasingly difficult transaction with professionalism, integrity, compassion, and a needed dose of humor.I cannot recommend Michael enough. My wife and I are continually grateful to him for helping us into our dream home, and we are glad to call Michael our Realtor and good friend.

ZillowVERIFIED I didn't know all the things that went to buying a house. I was completely lost. Where do I start???? A friend of mine saw that I was flabbergasted and told me about a realtor that could help me. His name was Michael Delgado. I must say, I didn't know what to expect from him. Well, let me say, Michael Delgado is #1 in my books. He was helpful in every step before, during and after I bought my home. He asked me what was on my wish list to selecting the right house for me, and he not only found a house for me, but he found my dream home. I love it!!!!! He knows everything a realtor should know and more. He made himself available to me 24/7. I don't know no any realtor doing that. If I had a question that I thought he would laugh at me about, he assured me that no question is a dumb one if it was important to me. He was and is a true professional. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Michael!!!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I would not have been able to get into our dream house without Michael Delgado. We put an offer down on our house but after the offer was accepted, the escrow fell through on the house we were selling. Basically the nightmare scenario of home selling. Michael worked his magic with the selling Realtors so that our offer wasn't dropped, even though they really should have. Michael was extremely attentive and responsive to our questions. And he was very patient with us calling him constantly. He made a hard process bearable. I would recommend Michael to anyone.

ZillowVERIFIED This guy is a crack up! He had me laughing so hard. After interviewing 3 agents over the phone I hired him to sell an investment property. I never met him in person. He faxed over a listing agreement to me and I signed and faxed it back. He started his stuff. I went to his first open house. He greeted me like a true professional. I was testing him since he didn't know what I looked like. He was talking to an interested buyer and I admired his questions he was asking them. I always thought that open houses were for realtors to get more listings and buyers but Michael did a wonderful job bringing me an offer on that Sunday open house. I told him that I was in town and we met for the first time in his office. He greeted me at the office door and said, "I knew that was you at the open house~that's why I worked so hard to persuade the buyer to write up an offer" I haven't invested much in Ventura County in a while but Michael Delgado is my realtor.

In over 8 moves in the past 35 years Mike Delgado has earned my respect. He knows how to market properties more than I expected, he was available by phone even when I had my late hour questions. When I told him to meet me at my home at 07:00 I saw him parked in the front at 06:50. I've now bought 9 homes and experienced 18 sides of a transaction. Mike is the top 18 of 18.
