If you're looking for the same, stop wasting time and just reach out to him!My wife and I were looking to purchase our first home in a crazy seller's market and had no experience whatsoever with the process. We did our due diligence and shopped around a bit for a real estate agent, and from the beginning Michael stood out. He was the first to respond to our initial inquiry, he was not pushy at all (he knows how good he is and doesn't need to push for business), his demeanor was warm and calm, and most importantly, he had a process in place for day 1: first, we would meet in person and go over the basics of the entire buying process, and go over the details of the working relationship should we choose to go ahead with him as our real estate agent. This was quite different from the handful of other agents we initially reached out to, and were very happy to have found someone who was willing to set aside time up front to go over everything at our own pace, without having to make any commitments.Michael is all about education and making sure you understand each step of the process, and to this end he is a) patient, and b) great at explaining things clearly. He responds to emails, texts, and his happy to get on a call as well. He came with us to every house we checked out, and was able to a) point out various things about the quality/state of the house, as a home inspector would, and b) tell us right away how accurately the house is valued and what to offer - if we were interested in putting in an offer - taking into account all relevant factors (the house itself, the current market, current interest in the house, etc.). When we found our current house, Michael nailed the offer price (without getting into too many details, it had been overpriced on the listing, and his estimation - which is what we put in as our offer - turned out to be exactly what the appraisal found). From the drafting of the offer to closing, Michael also proved very capable of handling a couple back and forths on the offer itself, and after going under contract, handled a few other small negotiations, which just made things that much simpler for us.As one would expect from someone who's been in the business for so long, Michael is also well connected and will keep the process going very smoothly w.r.t. helping you find a lender, setting up various inspections, arranging the closing meeting, etc. But most importantly, he is a straight-shooter, kind, funny, organized, knowledgable, and just a pleasure to work with.
