ZillowVERIFIED Home buying usually comes with every home buyers unique horror stories so my wife and I prepared for murphy's law but we really didn't have any snags thanks to Melissa other than the to be expected normal hangups i.e. challenges of a competitive market. On the surface it's easy to say a realtor is doing their job guiding you through the process and paperwork and that may be true but we feel Melissa offered us so much more than what is expected of a realtor. She was patient with us. We were mindful of not wasting her time but in the current market any buyer has to move fast whether it be seeing a home in person or making an offer and she was always available to show us anything we asked her to see as soon as was possible -- even if there was a slim to none chance it was "the one" and there were a few but she never left us hanging. She was honest with us. There were many homes we liked but didn't love but thought long and hard about 'settling' and she always offered us sage advice and helped us with the pros and cons. Some were were even at the higher end of our price range and i suppose a less honest agent would steer us towards, but she always reminded us that there will always be more houses and taking our time to find the right one should always be our goal. Finally, we found it. At the lower end of our price range thankfully. We knew it and told her and without without hesitation she told us she'll get the offer ready. We closed 33 days later with hardly even minor hiccups. We've been here a year now and haven't had even the slightest hint of buyers remorse.
