Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

First step, reach out to an agent! We are currently in a seller's market, which is making it extremely common that a buyer is in a competing offer situation on the house they want. It's important to know and understand the current market trends for your desired area and price range to figure out how to better position yourself. There are a lot of tricks and tips that I can provide to help you be the winning offer.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Take advantage of the market!! Prices are at an all time high, which means today is the best day for you to maximize your equity. Depending on the price and location, it may be a strong possibility that with our marketing and strategic pricing, your home will end up in a bidding war.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

All types!! First time home buyers, luxury homes, rehabbers, upsizing/downsizing, acreage, new construction, seniors, estates and more!!

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

Every transaction is different! All of my clients are starting a new chapter for a different reason. Being able to help people start their next chapter and help them achieve their goal is incredibly rewarding!

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

While studying graphic design at the Art Institute of Colorado, I worked as a door to door sales person for a local cable company. I get to live the best of both worlds, marketing and helping people.

Currently certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, which specialized in helping seniors transition. Constantly in ongoing training over a broad range of categories. Training and education is extremely important, so that I am always in the know of moving trends, housing stats, and being able to provide the best service for each client.

Melissa has been a helpful source of information in the years leading up to our decision to buy a home. In 2019 we decided to pull the trigger and buy house. Melissa gave valuable insight into how (from a financial perspective) to prepare for buying our first house and pointers on where to start to understand how to best qualify for a home loan. Once we were ready to start shopping, Melissa referred me to an amazing lender that I ended up working with to get our loan who in turn referred me to an excellent insurance broker whom I now use for all my insurance needs. I love the network we are part of as a result of our relationship with Melissa! From a knowledge perspective Melissa is invaluable! No matter how many questions I had (and still have lol) she was and still is always ready and willing to answer them for me or help me find the answers. 2019 was a competitive market and in order to see and buy a house we had to be able to be flexible in timing and Melissa always accommodated our schedule to help us view a home ASAP. She is incredibly knowledgeable with regard to the whole metro area which was invaluable to us. Melissa always had excellent insight into neighborhoods and more importantly, the house itself. Melissa is exceptionally knowledgeable when it comes to identifying potential issues, tell tale signs of problems that I never would have noticed if I were by myself. Melissa is honest and genuine and I never felt like she was just trying to sell me house or trying to get me to buy an expensive one. It always felt like she was trying to help my fiance and I find the right home!
