We had attempted to work with a couple agents before we found her, but they just didn't seem to be a good fit. Both the purchase and sale of our home had some unique challenges. The original purchase was a short sale which required competent and experienced navigation of the intricacies of dealing with the bank/seller. With her help, we eventually locked it up and even after we closed, Melissa was there for us to ensure everything was smooth sailing. When it came to selling our home more recently, there was no question that we'd request the help of Melissa. Our home had an unusual circumstance where we needed to have our condo comply with new LA County regulations for a seismic retrofit but hadn't broken ground on the project or even nailed down a complete estimate of costs. We wanted to move quickly, but were concerned with how to properly communicate this to interested buyers and if this might really hurt the chances of a smooth sale. She came up with a plan, clearly laid out the steps and everything came together exactly as we had hoped. From the first open house to escrow in one week! Her marketing was top notch, generating far more interest than the competition, resulting in a sale price exceeding our expectations with many other solid offers supporting that price. Excellent communication, reliable, attentive, detail oriented and makes you feel like the most important client in the world.
