Melissa Matey

Melissa was born and raised in Woodbury, Connecticut and relocated to Upstate New York where she attended Cornell University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Floriculture and Ornamental Horticulture. Soon after, she moved to the Capital Region and began her sales career in the wholesale cut flower business. Melissa then moved to Germany and Spain for 3 years before returning and making the Capital Region her permanent home where she raised her 3 children and started her business endeavor with the Pampered Chef. Melissa launched her Real Estate career in 1997, and joined Miranda Real Estate Group, Inc. in 2009. Melissa is a Top 10 Performing Agent with Miranda Real Estate Group, Inc. and is also a recipient of the Women's Council of Realtors Top 10% award for multiple years. Melissa is an animal lover, enjoys cooking, gardening and traveling the world, and visiting some of her favorite countries: Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the Caribbean Islands. Melissa is a member of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club and has been a generous supporter to The Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center for many years, where she continues to raise money with Pampered Chef and Miranda Real Estate Group, Inc.'s Annual Golf Tournament.
