ZillowVERIFIED If I could give six stars here I would.I moved to Fort Wayne back in December, and was referred to Melissa by my relocation company. From the get go, Melissa was very attentive and helpful. She educated me the best she could on the home-buying process, figured out my needs and wants, and got me looking at houses very quickly. There were a few houses off the bat that were great. Honestly, if I had seen those houses later in the process I probably would have went for them, but I was hesitant to jump at the first good option despite Melissa explaining to me several times that that is how the market is.Boy was she right! It really was a sellers market, at least then. All said and done, we probably spent 2 months searching and looking at houses off and on. Melissa was always able to find time when needed. She was straight with me about issues with the houses we looked at, even if I didn't point them out. On the first house I made an offer on, there were some major things that showed up on the inspection. The seller (note: the seller, not his agent) was what I can only describe as a very unreasonable and childish man who refused to take responsibility for things that I was not aware of at the time of the initial offer. Melissa worked her but off here trying to salvage the scenario, but there was not much anyone could do with that man.Shortly after this, she showed me the house I am living in now. I am incredibly thankful this is the house I ended up in. It checked all my boxes. The sellers threw in a bunch of extras and it was very clear they had taken good care of it, which is an extremely comforting feeling, especially after the first ordeal. On top of that, Melissa paid for the 2nd inspection out of her pocket, despite the fact the first deal went south by no fault of her own. Talk about going the extra mile!Melissa's assistant Joann was also very helpful and timely, especially when we got to the closing process. Amongst the mess of things involved in that process, she made it very clear what was important and what I needed to do and when, what things I needed to bring with me, etc.

I didn't have a lot of choice in Realtor due to a corporate move, but asked for a new one from my company relocation coordinator after the first one didn't listen to me. I'm so so happy that Melissa ended up being the one to help me buy a new home. Not only did she take the time on a holiday weekend (!!!) to show my SO, my parents, my brother, and me about 20 different houses, she patiently answered questions from every single one of us. She was honest and open about whether or not my requirements / desires could be met realistically, and helped me set better expectations. She walked me through every step of the process, which I needed even though this was my 4th home buying experience, because requirements change state to state, and it was my BEST home buying experience. Melissa is kind, thoughtful, hilarious, super knowledgeable about everything I needed her to be knowledgeable about (locations, school districts, HOA, distance from work, service providers, etc), and responsive. Her team members (Joann, Miranda, Kelly) were amazing as well. Even the glitches (there are always glitches) were handled with professionalism and were presented with "this happened, and we've got it taken care of." Hands down, would absolutely use Melissa again to help me buy or sell.

ZillowVERIFIED I have known Corey and Melissa for the past 6-7 years and have retained them as my #1 choice for buying and selling homes. They have always been very prompt with any situation that has come up (you know how the buying and selling processes go). If they weren't able to resolve the situation, they knew who to reach out to quickly. My most recent experience was with our new home. During the transfer of the seller's gas service to ours, the service was shut off (not the seller's fault) on a Friday. We were moving in on Saturday, so I called in and the gas company said they couldn't come out until the following Monday. We could have roughed it..if we didn't have an 18mo old. Corey called the gas company and worked his magic and they came out Friday night.I recommend these guys to everyone I hear that is in the market. Most people when asked have no relationship with their realtor and simply choose by an advertisement. We are lucky to have established this relationship because we will use them from here on out!
