I would give Melissa 6 stars if I could. I was renting a townhome and it was unexpectedly listed for sale. We had to act quickly and Melissa was on it! She negotiated a good price, coordinated inspections and hooked me up with a great lender. She's responsive and knowledgeable and works hard with a smile on her face. I can't recommend her strongly enough!

Melissa was amazing throughout our entire experience of buying and later selling our home. From the very beginning, she guided us with expertise, patience, and clear communication, making what can be a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. When it came time to sell, Melissa handled everything professionallyaEUR"from marketing the home effectively to negotiating with buyersaEUR"helping us achieve a good outcome. We truly appreciated her dedication, responsiveness, and genuine care for our best interests throughout both transactions. We would wholeheartedly recommend Melissa to anyone looking for an agent who can guide you confidently through both buying and selling a home!

Melissa is the ultimate professional. Although we didn't end up buying (so far), she guided us through the process expertly...and really used her negotiating skills to make sure we didn't end up with a really bad purchase. You can't go wrong with her.

Melissa is a nice, charming realtor who showed up on time and helped us see the big picture about the purchase decision. With a tight turnaround, we were able to close on time. What I didnt enjoy: It felt like Melissa was more focused on getting the deal done than on checking all the details and mitigating risk. I felt her preferred loan officer was pushed on us harder than I expected or wanted. Maybe that was to ensure the deal closed quickly, but it didnt feel like it was done with our best interests in mind. After qualifying us for a 30-year mortgage, that loan officer sent a one-sentence email saying we didnt qualify for a 15-year mortgageaEUR"which didnt match my own calculations. Multiple other lenders later confirmed we did qualify for a 15-year mortgage. That could have cost us thousands of dollars a year. When the home inspection flagged the window and chimney, I had to pursue specialized inspections myselfaEUR"these werent encouraged by our agent. The window needed replacement (a costly, custom job) and the chimney required multiple services. Because I pushed for those inspections, we secured several thousand dollars in credits. I believe a good realtor should flag and pursue those concerns proactively. I also called the insurance company for a CLUE report to check for prior claims. My agent said it was a good idea only after I did this. The report revealed a prior water damage claim that hadnt been disclosed. When I raised concerns, Melissas responseaEUR"aEURoeWhat are you concerned about?aEUR?aEUR"felt dismissive. My family advised mold testing, and the home tested positive for elevated mold levels, for which remediation was estimated at $5,000. I cannot recommend an agent who charges an administrative/transaction fee on top of a 3% commission. Some agents add these fees mainly because the market allows them to, not because the service provided justifies the extra cost. Finally, her team offers prizes for 5-star reviews, which in my opinion could influence the distribution of ratings.

We loved working with Melissa. She was on the ball, helped us navigate a fair price, and was able to guide us to neighborhoods we loved. Thanks Melissa!
