Melinda Hunt

Melinda Hunt is a Columbia SC Real Estate Agent. She graduated from Francis Marion University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and a Minor in Business Administration. Immediately following graduation she carried out her education in Human Resources where she became a member of Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), which is the world's largest HR professional society. Her role as a Recruiter and HR Manager prepared her for business leadership and development. Prior to obtaining a real estate license, she was employed at a real estate law firm which was recognized by Inc. Magazine's 'INC 5000' as one of America's Fastest Growing Companies. In 2016, Melinda's 1st year as a salesperson in the real estate field, she closed nearly 20 real estate transactions and assisted in an additional 30 sales. These sales consisted of newly constructed homes, resales, foreclosed and REO properties, where she represented both buyers and sellers. In 2017 she joined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Blythewood to take advantage of a structured atmosphere of systems and tools to grow her business. Melinda says, "I really love Real Estate. The years that I've spent as a Recruiter and HR Manager has had a tremendous impact on my real estate business.
