Dishonest realtor. I was under contract on one of Dawn Meyers properties on Lake Almanor Drive. She called it a well-maintained home with nothing to disclose, but then once I had inspections done, I found out the house was in terrible shape. There had been a fire under the house and none of the burnt beams were repaired. There was mold and fungus problems in the structure because there were also plumbing problems and disconnected pipes, dangerous electrical work and a bad roof. The septic tank and leach field also came back with issues from a septic inspection. Clearly I canceled the sale during my due diligence but she never got the seller to sign the cancellation so my earnest money is still locked up with Chicago title company in Susanville. They have since listed the home still saying its been well-maintained with nothing to disclose while still having my money in escrow. I canceled the sale in August and its almost November with still no offer to return my $5000. This realtor and brokerage are dishonest and a testament to whats wrong with the world.
