Melanie Turcsik

Growing up on a produce and livestock farm in Castile NY, my passion for "houses" started early. I loved building shelters for our animals, and helping my father renovate old farmhouses. Like most, after high school, I had a few false starts, although I enjoyed working in marketing and sales, and eventually was promoted to a management position in a service industry, I never lost my attraction for what eventually revealed itself to me as "real estate". I knew that my strength was helping people, I obtained a Cosmetology License and eventually became a licensed Esthetician as well. My true passion was real estate and it continued to beckon me. Thank goodness I was eventually led to The Updegraff Group Realty to further my career in real estate. I wanted to be able to refine and combine my skills with an organization that shared my passion for providing an ultimate client experience, as well as providing a supportive and nurturing environment as I honed my skills. I truly believe that the years I spent in the service industry, as well as my education and experience equipped and guided me to where I am today.
