ZillowVERIFIED When my husband was offered a job in the Springfield, MA area, we decided to look at houses too, even though we had only ever rented. After speaking with several area realtors on the phone, we decided to go with Meghan and are so glad we did! During a quick weekend visit, Meghan showed us 7 or 8 houses all over the region, sharing honest insights about the areas and her personal opinions about the houses. We really appreciated her candidness and her familiarity with each town -- the *feel* of a place can be such a hard thing to grasp when you don't know an area, and since she grew up locally, we could trust her take on things. In some ways, it seemed like a crazy thing to do -- move 700 miles (from OH to MA) to a place we've only visited once AND buy our first house while we're at it -- but it was the right decision for us and we had the right person to help us do it. Meghan and her team were responsive and helpful with all of our questions (even the dumb ones; again, we were first-timers), and it was great having someone we could trust guide us through the ridiculously complicated process of buying a home. We had to do everything remotely, and she helped us feel confident that we weren't missing anything by not being here in person. She was very responsive to all of our emails, phone calls and texts. In the end, the timing worked out beautifully: we arrived in the area on a Monday and on Tuesday we did the final walk-through with Meghan (who matched our excitement in a very genuine way), signed the papers with the attorney, and got the keys to our first house! We'll absolutely be recommending Meghan to anyone who asks.

No one likes to be left in the dark, unaware of what is going on behind the scenes of their property negotiation. Meghan informed us often, if not daily of what the next steps were. She got back to us right away every time we sent a text or called! She is right on point with supplying the necessary documentation needed (to be signed, etc.) and following up with both sides. She was aware of the changes we need to make to improve the sale-ability of our home. Her marketing team was amazing! The MLS listing was eye catching and the photographs impeccable! She welcomed us with open arms, and was always there to provide comfort and guidance to the stresses that come with buying any home. We moved to Massachusetts from the Midwest and our financial institution wasn't a local one or familiar with how things are done in this state. The bank ran us up and down for 3 months of torture on what should've been a quick close. Meghan was always a phone call, text, or email away and we could always count on her. Selecting an agent remotely is difficult and somewhat random. She was caring and informative, but when it was time to get us what she wanted, there was no question about her ability to stand firm. Throughout the process of buying our home, my wife and I had some difficulty with our mortgage broker and real estate attorney, which made for a longer and more difficult process than was necessary, but having Meghan on our side went a long way to making the experience a positive one. We spent time looking at several different kinds of houses in different areas of town, and each time Meghan was well informed on the kinds of houses and knowledgeable about the area.
