They orchestrating every step of the transaction from sourcing the property off market through their robust network at Compass (as we had requested), to negotiating the offers, lining up every inspection, and talking us through every single step to getting across the finish line. Megan, Courtney and Cams knowledge of the local market is vast and deep which is extremely important when choosing who to work with. This marketplace here in Newport/East Side is extremely competitive. This transaction was one for the record books. We negotiated and went into escrow during the Christmas holiday and had signed offers on December 26. The Varga team was very responsive at all times and giving us the best present of opening escrow a few days later. It took all the way until March 8th for escrow to close with many uncertainties along the way that was completely out of our hands. Throughout all this time, Megan and team went from realtor to full time psychiatrist. We had been looking for years to buy a home in Newport/East Side Costa Mesa and made more offers than you can count on your hands and toes on homes to no avail with many different realtors. Many of times well above ask and it was still not enough. We challenged Megan to find something off market and they went to work immediately. Within only a few weeks they found our now home. ZillowVERIFIED Upon first seeing my home, Megan Varga quickly had a vision for how it should be prepared for marketing to maximize its potential sales price. Megan's strong knowledge of the needs of buyers in my neighborhood was key. Her expertise was beyond what I have experienced from other good agents I've worked with on many other sales. My wife and I had worked hard and spent a lot of money improving this home over ten years. But Megan's expertise in selecting the right stager at a reasonable price and her great repair people helped put the house in great shape for marketing. Once the house was made available, Megan held open houses which shortly brought in an immediate offer. However, Megan advised me to wait for a better offer from someone who better saw the strengths of the home. Besides holding the usual open houses, Megan held one in the evening to highlight the sunset view. Another open house was through formal invitations delivered throughout the neighborhood. The unusual open houses were where the eventual buyer saw the house. Once the house was under contract, Megans repair people performed so well we were able to pass inspections and close a month earlier than originally agreed. Megan told me within the first few minutes of seeing my home what kind of specific buyer would best appreciate the unique strengths of my home. Computer-generated comparisons didn't catch those differences. And that is the kind of buyer who purchased it. It was nice to get a good price for our home emotionally rewarding to transfer ownership to someone who appreciates it.

ZillowVERIFIED So far in my lifetime, Ive purchased and sold 8 properties and worked with a lot of real-estate agents. The last three transactions were with Megan Varga and they have been the best managed real-estate transactions Ive experienced to date. It is for this reason I think I should provide input to buyers/seller and what they should look for in choosing an agent and for those buyers/sellers that are located where Megan works, I would highly advise you contact her as most likely she will be an excellent fit for your needs. If you are not locale, I would still use her as a resource as her advice is sound and from years of experience. I am also a business owner and have a slightly different perspective/expectation on the house hunt and sale which expects more rigor and excellence from the person I work with since my time is money and I not only look at sell/buying a home from a personal perspective but from the effectiveness of running a business transaction since there is so much at stake. This is what I look for and learned to look for from my agent and of which Megan demonstrates. Megan uses her resources effectively and because she has been in business for many years, her resources are well proven. As in any transaction or fulfilling a need, the most effective person is the best resourced and knows how to use those resources effectively. Not only does your agent show you homes or shows your home to people but they are driving a lot of background details of which can make your transaction timely or wrought with issues. Megan is well connected in the community. She has allies in financing, inspections, repairs, support staff, etc. Because of this, she is able to utilize those resources to make sure your transaction moves forward for an on time close. Even though you may choose someone else, its Communication is critical in anything we do. I cannot convey how many people I work with from a day-to-day basis with poor communication skills. Poor communication skills also lead to wrongly set expectations. Megan is precise and consistent with her communications, which set clear expectations. Ive had transactions go south due to bad communications from previous relators setting the incorrect expectations that hurt negotiations and counter offers. All great communicators are excellent listeners as well. Megan assumed nothing and listened to our opinions and took them into account for our search. Megan is very proactive. In my last transaction we were dealing with a tight time schedule and her aggressive search helped us sell our home and move into another seamlessly. She managed the entire process like a corporate project manager. She understood the timeline and was proactive in looking at all possibilities that could either delay, buy us time or compress our schedule. One great effort was proactively touching base with agents in the area before homes were listed to make sure we had the first chance to view the home and place an offer before others. Having an agent that can identify with your personal needs in searching for a home is critical. They are looking and suggesting homes for you. If they truly understand what you and your family needs, it makes the search more effective, saves times and frustration. I found Megan excellent because she is a parent of two wonderful children and knows exactly what I need as a parent too. For those that are not parents. Megan is still very good as she is empathetic and because of that will understand your needs very well. Her listening and communication capabilities work well in learning and delivering on clients that are unique. I really appreciate you reading the review I provided. There is a lot I can say about Megan but I really wanted to highlight a few strong points. And I felt it was important to write this review. Ive had not so good agents in the past which have caused issues and frustrations.
