Going into the home-buying process, we had a good idea of the features we wanted in a home, but we also needed someone who could help us explore the market and understand what was available throughout the Post Falls and Coeur d'Alene area. Buying your first home can be an overwhelming experience, especially when you're unfamiliar with the process, which makes having a knowledgeable and dependable real estate agent in your corner incredibly important. Megan brought an incredible amount of experience and knowledge to the table, and we were able to lean on her throughout the entire process. No matter what questions we had, she always took the time to provide thoughtful, detailed explanations. Even more importantly, she proactively shared information and pointed out things we hadn't considered but needed to know. She also did a phenomenal job of keeping our stress levels in check, offering reassurance and guidance whenever we needed it. I would also highly recommend Megan to experienced home buyers. If there's one quality that I believe separates a great real estate agent from the rest, it's communication, and Megan absolutely excels in that area. She was ALWAYS quick to respond, and in the competitive market we were navigating, responsiveness was critical. In fact, her ability to act quickly and keep us informed played a major role in helping us secure the home we are in now. We would absolutely work with Megan again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. Review Megan is an outstanding realtor. She is friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. We liked her for her soft sell approach. She is not pushy at all. She is very matter of fact and will tell you the key points of the home, the area, the schools, etc. We have used her for our own home purchase a few years ago and most recently when she helped our parents buy a home in Post Falls. We?ve never had any issues or problems with any paperwork, transactions or processes. She has a lot of friends in financing, home inspections, painters and title companies. She is from this area and she knows the ?ins and outs? of all the surrounding areas. We have recommended her to friends who have selected her as their realtor. She does not just wait for properties to come up on the market. She will door knock, make calls, find off-market listings, and do whatever it takes to get the job done, which is especially critical in a hot market. Review We met Megan by chance through Zillow. Megan showed us existing homes, but we ultimately decided to go with new construction. Megan was invaluable. I honestly didn't think we needed an agent to assist in a new construction process, but she is exactly what we needed. She thought of things that we didn't, asked about the details and was able to negotiate some extras for us. When timing was getting to be an issue and we weren't getting responses from the builder/seller, she stepped up and got the answers. Review Megan was great to work with. She always had a positive attitude and desire to help. She was flexible to work with her clients schedule. She was always on time. She found me my home and worked hard to get it for me. My only "negative" comment is she is new at the job. She has done great for less than one year experience. However, at times I felt like she should be doing more seeking than she was. She would show me anything I asked her to show me. But I never got the feeling that she was actively seeking houses for me. I would get her automated emails with listing updates but that was it. I would have liked her to seek houses out a little more than she did because I got rather frustrated trying to find houses once I felt like I had exhausted all my options. I'm a first time home buyer so I didn't necessarily know how the process worked or where to look. A little more guidance could have been helpful but with that said, Megan still did a great job. I would use her again and recommend her.
