ZillowVERIFIED I really cant say enough about Meg Hyland as a realtor. I met Meg while trying to sell a house that I had purchased as a second home in Minneapolis as an investment rental property. I interviewed 5 different realtors before deciding to contract with Meg to list my house. In addition to really listening to my story she applied her wealth of experience to drill down on what I would need to do to sell my house quickly at the best price possible. I had a limited budget and the renters I had evicted had left my house in terrible condition. Meg had a long list of contacts who were able to help me with everything from masonry to deep cleaning and even effective decorating for showings, all at prices that were within my budget. I live out of state and could only spend two weeks preparing my house for sale, so there were still a large number of things that had to be done after I returned home. Fortunately for me, everyone on Megs team was very reliable and easy to communicate with so many repairs and improvements were completed to the highest standard without much involvement or effort from me. Before I met Meg I had invited several large home buying companies to evaluate my home for aEURoeas-isaEURoe cash offers. Their offers were low enough that after selling to any of them I would have still had to pay thousands of dollars out of my own pocket to pay off what I owed on my mortgage. Meg gave me the reassurance I needed to invest in making repairs and preparing my house for sale in hopes of getting a decent sale price. On the first weekend the house was listed I had lots of interest at the open house and wound up accepting and ultimately closing on an offer that was over my asking price. Instead of paying to walk away from my mortgage, I netted over $26K. I credit her directly with this result. By knowing what would appeal most to buyers she focused my limited resources and time on the most important issues I needed to address to show my house to its best advantage. Her contacts in the industry and knowledge of the local market were invaluable in getting my house sold quickly and at the best price. I highly recommend Meg Hyland as a realtor, I'm very grateful to her for her professionalism and expertise.
