Matthew Thomas

Matt Thomas, a Colorado native, LOVES Colorado! Born and raised in Denver Metro Area, Matt been a resident of Front Range for all but four years he spent in Seattle and two years abroad in Russia. Matt grew up with an appreciation for hard work as he was raised in a family construction business. Later, Matt graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Russian and geology. Matt eventually found his real passion as a real estate agent and business owner.

With his wide-ranging experiences Matt naturally brings other relevant skills to the table. With a background in construction and as a former geologist who worked in the geotechnical engineering field he's gained a deeper understanding of what goes into a home from the ground up. From the soil, to the timber, to the mortar, and of course, even handling a tough negotiation for a successful sale--Matt knows homes.

Specialties: Matt is a Master Certified Negotiation Expert (MCNE), a designation held by less than 1% of real estate agents nationally. His specialty is residential listing and buyer home sales but he does have experience with commercial real estate as well. Matt really loves to show his value when he's able to step in and work with clients whose previous agents had fallen short.

Matt was inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2016 and is a recipient of the Five Star Real Estate Agent award every year since 2014.
