ZillowVERIFIED Matt Stransky and his team did an amazing job getting our house listed and the activity was incredible. He also seems to be a pretty nice guy. Beyond that I cannot think of too many nice things to say.His attention to detail is pathetic and he continually cuts corners in negotiations especially on purchase agreements. He actually told me that the purchase agreement for our house was not as important as the contracts I work with in my business and not to worry about the details. I beg to differ, my house seems pretty important to me.He likes to answer in text form - and unfortunately likes to talk-to-text which never comes across clear and understandable. Not a good method of communication when your customer keeps asking you to stop communicating in this manner. He ends each text with a fist bump which is beyond annoying.His communication skills were so bad that I asked him NOT to attend the closing. I had to hire a high-end attorney on my own to protect us from the situation he put us in. We ended up selling, but not for what we should have received... it should have been at least $100k more.Nearly two months later, I am still getting called by my attorney to fix the mess that Matt created... the details Matt told me not to worry about. We never met the buyers... by the time closing came around we were all sick of each other. The process was long and painful.My wife and I have had over 20 real estate transactions in our lifetime... by a factor of ten, this transaction was the worst.

He allowed us to list it higher than his estimate, because we were hopeful that maybe there was some wiggle room. But at the end of the day, he knew the market and he knew how to sell the house. His photographer took excellent pictures, and the house was marketed just right. Matt and his assistant are extremely responsive and very professional. We were pleased with everything, and would recommend him to anyone that asks.

At times I would get discouraged, but she knew the right things to say to get me back on track, and to find the right home for me. I had full confidence that she had MY best interest in mind. When buying a house, it is imperative to look for any defects or any high priced items that may need to be repaired or replaced (roof, furnace, basement leaks etc.). Chollie has the knowledge and experience to point out such deficiencies. She will actually steer you away from something if she feels it won't meet your long term goals (even if it means she loses a commission).
