ZillowVERIFIED I have bought and sold multiple homes and except for my first home 30 years ago, I have not had to use a real estate agent. But when I moved from CT to NY, I had to hire a real estate agent given the complexity of the move. I interviewed three agents, and one of them was Matt. While the other 2 agents thought we could sell at a higher price, Matt explained why he thought we should price lower (primarily b/c we had 3 bedrooms and comparable houses in our area all had 4) and set realistic expectations for us. We were so glad we chose him! First because we ended up with a sale in 4 days, and second because we ran into issues with our inspection and he helped keep us stay calm and focused. Since we moved out of the house before we closed on it, Matt also met with cable and oil companies that needed access to our home while we were absent. He was always available for a question/concern and was integral in our conversations with the lawyer. But the biggest benefit was that we trusted him completely and felt very supported. We really enjoyed working with him on a personal level and would use him again in a heartbeat. Best realtor in CT, hands down! You will not go wrong using Matt.

Matt was Sellers Agent. I offered more money and equal terms and lost the deal because other buyer used Standarad Contract and I used purchase agreement even though both are equally binding. Just ridiculous and unfair. Dont WORK WITH MATT !! Responding to Matt's response. Matt is a liar. He never did anything to help me. I offered a high 6 figure deposit. I waived the inspection contingency. I offered a high offer than competition. Matt did not disclose to my realtor the terms required to win. He is a phony and deserves to have license revoked for violation of code of ethics and standards. You risk wasting your time and money dealing with Matt - STAY AWAY !!

Despite looking for over a year, we never felt pressured on time or pressured to buy something just to move things along. In fact, there were houses we liked, and rather than let us run with it, Matt brought certain items of major concern (that would have been caught during an inspection but saved our time and efforts) to our attention so that we knew everything we needed to before putting in an offer. When we first approached Matt to sell our Norwalk property in 2017, Matt did his due diligence for us and with the market then a sale would not have been viable. Matt helped us find great tenants to rent the property until the market changed. He helped us through the rental period (keeping in touch all the time) and then alerted us to a changing market in 2021. Matt managed the property sale, finding us a buyer at a great price. All the time, Matt took us step by step through the process. We can honestly say that Matt's support has helped us more than we can ever say. ZillowVERIFIED This was our second time working with Matt - this time he was selling our house. Matt kept in touch with us and was able to answer any questions we had since we were new to the area, and he referred us to people he was familiar when we needed work done and didn't know who to use over the last few years. When we told him we were looking at selling he quickly came down and gave us a rough idea of what we could expect to sell for, as well as some tips on improvements to make since we had some time before we planned to sell. We planned to list in the middle of May, and ended up needing to change to mid-April. Based on our situation at the time, this basically gave Matt one week to list and sell the house. We met with him one more time, had photos taken that week, and he scheduled approximately 40 showings for Saturday and Sunday. We had 11 offers by Sunday night, and were under contract well over asking price on Monday. We really enjoyed working with Matt, and the whole process was as easy as it could be start to finish.
