We worked with Matt for approximately four weeks while searching for a home. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Throughout the process, we felt that he provided very little guidance or value beyond scheduling showings and opening doors. We were hoping for assistance narrowing down neighborhoods, evaluating properties, and developing competitive offer strategies, but that support never materialized. When we asked for advice, the responses were often limited to comments such as aEURoeyes, its a good areaaEUR? or aEURoeokay, Ill draft the offer,aEUR? without much consultation, analysis, or professional input. As buyers relocating from another state, we were looking for an experienced advocate who could help us navigate the market and make informed decisions. Instead, we felt largely on our own throughout the process. Despite submitting offers, we never successfully secured a home while working with him. When we decided to end the relationship, we requested to be released from the buyer-broker agreement. We were surprised when he requested $1,000 before agreeing to release us. This left us with a very negative impression of the overall experience. Based on our experience, we would not recommend Matt to buyers seeking proactive guidance, strategic advice, and strong representation during their home search.
