At the same time, Matt was showing us houses that we wanted to view, as well as suggesting others. In the end he helped us buy a HUD house that needed a lot of help and was tricky to buy. He put the right people on our team to accomplish the goal of buying through the government/bank and we were able to get the house and we have been so happy there every since! We were relocating back to Erie and not ready to buy a house and Matt actually took the time to help us navigate the rental market in Erie and gave us a lot of valuable information. Naturally when it came time for us to buy a home, we knew we would ask Matt for his help. Matt showed us numerous homes in the 3-4 months we were looking. He gave us the pros and cons of each home, neighborhood, and surrounding area. He was very patient as we went from wanting an old fixer-upper, to a new build, and finally decided on a move in ready home in a well established neighborhood. All along the way Matt had very valuable information on all of the aspects of purchasing a home. After we moved in there was a minor issue and Matt continued to help us, contacting the sellers agent and even the contractor who did some minor repairs/work. He really went above and beyond what we would have expected.From the minute Matt took the time to give us valuable information on the area and rental market we knew we would use him to help us find a home. ZillowVERIFIED Have you ever wanted a realtor that wasn't pushy like a car salesman can be, was informative in a way that was easy to understand, and was there when you needed him/her (among other things)? This is Matt. He helped us to sell the first house that we initially purchased with Howard Hanna after one of their agents was unable to sell it after a year. We liked him so much that we contacted him again to help us buy the house we own now. We could contact him day/night via email/phone/text and he'd respond quickly. He is one of the most personable, professional, and reliable real estate agents I have ever met. To this day, I can call him if I have questions on our house or who we should contact for repair work. He has even called/emailed long after we bought the house to find out of how things are going. He doesn't stop being your realtor after you buy/sell your house. He's there for the long-term, which is why I'd recommend him without hesitation to anyone I know.

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I originally met Matt while he was showing an open house, and it became pretty clear that we got along with him better than pretty much any of the other agents we'd met, so we contracted with him to be our buyer's agent. Matt was perfect for us - we picked out houses and schedules, and he made it happen. During walkthroughs, he provided solid advice about things to keep an eye out for, and context for some of the oddities of Erie real estate. He was very frank about major issues with some of the houses, but didn't obsess over things that are easy to fix. In the end, we got a house we love at a price we were very happy with.
