Matthew's hobbies are centered on a passion for technical fly fishing and fly tying, ranging from trout and steelhead in Pennsylvania and New York to saltwater fly fishing in Florida and the Carolinas. He has a strong interest in Information Technology and modern smart home integration. A dedicated sports fan, he closely follows Penn State football and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Additionally, he enjoys outdoor exploration and travel frequently incorporating wine tasting into his trips. He also stays active in the local culinary scene, discovering new restaurants and diverse cuisines.

Matthew's family has deep roots in the community, largely centered around their long-standing family business. He is married to Terri Evey, who is not only his spouse but also a key partner in their professional life, serving as the Office Administrator/Bookkeeper for their real estate brokerage. The family legacy is a point of pride, as they continue to operate a business that has been family-owned and operated since 1942. They greatly enjoy quality time spent with their 5 children.
