ZillowVERIFIED Matt was incredible! I am a first time buyer, and at our very first meeting at his office he walked me through the entire process so what I n=knew what to expect in the future. Then he said he would be there every step of the way. Usually that means you are on your own! NOT with Matt! My job was to decide what kind of home I wanted, then yes to the one I liked. He listened to my preferences and started finding homes that met them. I could look on my own as well, and he would set up the showing. During the mortgage phase, every question I had he was there to help. Now you might think this sounds normal, except I was lookin for a very particular type of home and I was in no hurry. It took me just under a year to find my perfect house! Matt was as patient, encouraging and helpful during the entire year as he was on day 1. There was no pressure, he kept saying he was my agent and he wanted what I wanted. And on the closing day I think he was as excited for me as I was. If you want an ordinary agent, you will find one. If you want an extraordinary agent, look for Matt.

ZillowVERIFIED Matt recently helped me and my wife purchase a home, and overall, we thought he did an excellent job. He was friendly throughout the process and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. He also connected us with trustworthy people for the different components of the home search (loan officer, lawyer, etc.), so that was much appreciated. However, we did feel like he left a lot of the home searching to us - he made a preliminary list containing some homes (and updated it once, I think) but mainly listed homes that were in a neighborhood that we werent wild about. We ended up finding all of the homes that we wanted to tour, and we eventually chose one of those homes to purchase. We would have appreciated a bit more hands on help with the home search for our desired neighborhoods and more information about why Matt chose the homes that he did. Because of COVID, he wasnt able to be present with us during our in-person home tours, but Im sure he walked through the homes himself or watched the virtual tours. We would have appreciated his thorough opinions on each of the homes we toured - whats great about a given home? Whats not so great? Info like that would have helped inform our buying decision a bit more, although we did end up finding a great home at a good price point. Overall, we think that Matt is an excellent real estate agent who will be even better for buyers like us once he provides more, personalized information about why a given home is a good or not so good fit.
