About Matthew Bizzarro

Matthew Bizzarro's journey to real estate is deeply rooted in his upbringing, which instilled a strong sense of community and family values. After earning a marketing degree from Fairfield University, he pursued a career in education, as a teacher and coach. In these roles, he mentored the next generation and worked to foster a deep sense of empathy and understanding, qualities that later defined his approach to real estate. Matthew's real estate journey began in 2002 when he took a summer agent position to supplement his teaching salary. Over the next 11 years, he watched the market trends, worked tirelessly for his clients, and gained a deep understanding of what clients truly need in their real estate journey. Matthew quickly developed a passion to serve people in a better way than the NYC real estate industry standard. In 2013, Matthew founded The Bizzarro Agency with the mission to find a better way to serve the people of Upper Manhattan--a neighborhood he felt was often neglected by the broader real estate industry. His focus was to provide exceptional service to this community, helping residents find homes and build a sense of belonging. Under Matthew's leadership, the agency has grown considerably from that initial reach, and now serves all of New York City and Westchester. The Bizzarro Agency's client-centered approach has led to over $750,000,000 in sales and more than 5,200 families served. The agency's success is further validated by its inclusion in the Inc. 5000 list and recognition as a Best of StreetEasy and Zillow Award recipient. Blessed with a loving wife and five children (yes, you read that right!), Matthew finds a way to balance his professional responsibilities with a fulfilling personal life. He is actively involved in community service, sponsoring numerous non-profit organizations across NYC and Westchester. Matthew also coaches Little League, delivers meals to people without stable housing, and runs "Be Great In Real Estate," a coaching program he founded to help new agents get off on the right foot in a tough industry.
