ZillowVERIFIED Last year, 2017, I had some interest in looking at houses to buy. I reached out to a lender who told me I had to make triple my income to be able to afford a decent home and I was very discouraged. Before I was turned down by the lender, I had already requested some information on a condo and then received a call from Matt. He called to introduce himself to me, gave me some information about the condo I was interested in and asked me if I had a pre-approval in place. This is when I told him I couldnt go through with buying because I wasnt making tripple what the condo was worth, and Matt gave me hope! However, I didnt start looking at homes until April of this year. My husband and I met with Matt, told him what we were looking for, and he gave us his professional input on every question we had. Our first meeting, as first-time homebuyers, was like a class with Matt teaching us everything we needed to know. The following week, we started looking at places and it was a great thing! The place we bought wasnt actually on our list but Matt suggested based on what he learned we liked and were looking for in a home.. We placed a bid, and just closed on it. I will say, Matt is very professional, responsive and fun to work with. I asked him SO many questions and they were answered right away. He does not mind TEACHING you if you are not familiar with some things. It was a pleasure for my husband and I to work with him and I just wish that everybody works with Matt. Our first experience with home-buying was perfect because of him.

Matt just happened to be the property manager for our condo and was very accommodating throughout the entire process. More recently, we entered the market as first home buyers and decided to hire Matt due the positive experience we previously had with him. As first time home buyers we were extremely stressed about the process, but Matt helped make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. He made a conscious effort to really understand who we were on a personal level so he could better assist us - I actually think Matt and my husband might be new best friends :). He managed to show me the houses I wanted to see on very, very short notice and had the paperwork ready when I decided to make an offer on one of them. The inspector he recommended was amazing as well, spotting issues that were hard to see as well as reassuring me on matters that had worried me initially. During the entire buying process Matt was always fast to respond to any questions I had, following up regularly with both the sellers and me to ensure everything was going smoothly and as planned. He remained helpful even weeks after the home purchase was complete, as he ensured a water bill issue related to the previous owners was resolved properly. If I ever buy another house or want to sell this one, I would definitely have Matt be my realtor again.
