We were introduced to Matt through word of mouth, which right off the bat gave us a vote of confidence. Right away, he showed he had a ton of experience and knowledge in the market and neighborhoods, was incredibly responsive and we could feel he truly had our best interests in mind. This was our first time buying a home and as the market was competitive, we were nervous we may be in this for the long haul. Matt answered any and all questions, never making us feel dumb or inexperienced. He sent us properties and we sent him some, always taking the time to explain the pros and cons of each, and never pushing us to put an offer in, just to put one in. He set us up with someone to help get our pre approval and continued to be incredibly involved in every single point of the process. When we put our first offer in, which did not get accepted, Matt really helped us craft something we felt very good about and discussed how the offer process was going to be. When it didn't get accepted, we didn't feel bad because Matt really helped us to understand that this was just the first one but now that we had done it, we were ready to actually find the right home. And to be honest, it wasn't the right home so we are happy it didn't get accepted. After wavering on if San Diego was even right for us to stay and buy a home in, Matt never lost faith and kept such a positive attitude. When we put our next offer in, Matt handled it with such care and true real estate finesse. He had great communication with us and the sellers agent and our offer was accepted! We didn't even have the highest bid! Matt helped us cross the finish line and was so knowledgeable of the escrow process and kept us on track, confident and comfortable through the whole thing. We truly cannot recommend Matt more highly and if you choose to work with him, you will be in incredibly kind, thoughtful and positive hands.
