ZillowVERIFIEDWe had an excellent experience with Matt as our realtor. Matt has helped us buy 5 homes and sell 4 homes in the Green Cove Springs area over the past six years. Matt was our listing agent for the 4 homes that he has helped us sell over the past three years. He took complete responsibility of listing our home, taking care of it while it was being sold, and eventually selling our homes. Matt has excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills. Additionally, he is extremely responsible and trustworthy. Most importantly Matt managed to sell our homes at a very good price. Mike always kept me informed regarding the latest updates. He is also very polite, easy to deal with, and professional in his approach. Overall, we found Matt to be an exceptionally good realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED Without a doubt, the best experience I have ever had. We worked directly with Matt who responded to our every needs. The first contact ever with Matt, I accidentally texted him at 11 pm and he responded. To me that is customer service at its highest. He negotiated our contract in order it to work out financially for our family and made sure we were comfortable throughout the process. He was always available on short notice which means so much during the process of finding the right home. I located Matt on a realtor sign while house hunting on my own. Making that phone call to him was the best decision to find our forever home. You cannot and will not go wrong with this team.

ZillowVERIFIED Matt is awesome!!!!!!!!!! We have bought and sold numerous home and he is by far the best realtor we have dealt with. His marketing of our home was more than we could have ever expected. His only problem is he sold our too fast he's just that good. Anyone who needs a realtor and don't choose Matt would in our opinion be a fool. We give Matt the HIGHEST possible recommendation.

ZillowVERIFIED We just sold our house with Matt. Can't say enough about how excellent he was to work with. About two weeks before the closing we had a significant repair that came up and threatened the deal. What's more, I was out of town on business and could not deal with the problem myself. Not only was Matt able to come up with a creative solution for the Buyer's peace of mind, but he also personally supervised the repairs needed to close the deal.I won't be calling anyone else when I need a real estate transaction done. Thanks Matt!

ZillowVERIFIED We were first time home buyers and had very little knowledge of the buying process. We went with the first realtor we met, thinking all realtors are the same, and that was the biggest mistake we made! After weeks of horrible houses and unhelpful answers to questions we had, we met Matt. Our negative experience looking for a house was completely turned around. Matt has a few qualities I never expected to see in a realtor, the main one is HE CARES! We had loads of questions and he answered every one of them with truth and detail, never leaving us scratching our head wondering if we were missing something. After we negotiated with the sellers I had a few concerns with the house. Matt's reaction? "Ill throw on some work clothes and we will go through the attic and crawl space TOGETHER". Yes, he got underneath a house with me and helped inspect some faults! That shows true conviction! That wasn't the only thing, he was also available when we needed him. My work schedule is insane and he made a point to work around it, he always answered when we called and even answered a few calls while he was on vacation with his family! Never in my life have I wrote a review with all 5 stars. Matt Berrang deserves every single one of them. I couldn't recommend him enough.

ZillowVERIFIED We just recently moved into our new home after searching the Mandarin area for over two years. Matt was our agent throughout our search, and he never gave up on us. After looking at many re-saleas we decided to build. Matt was with us throughout the whole process giving great advice and suggestions. He always had our back. If you are looking for a great agent look no more, you found him. The Lupari Family

ZillowVERIFIED Matt's professionalism is top notch. Having worked with Matt on multiple real estate transactions, our experiences have been smooth and low stress. Any issues have been quickly resolved through Matt's close communication and clear explanations of what is happening. He has been a great source for other pros in the real estate and construction world, and he was always available to answer any questions from the trivial to the most important concerns. The man knows the business. We would highly recommend Matt to anyone seeking a dedicated, experienced agent who will handle every detail of your transactions. We expect to do more business in the future with our friend Matt.

ZillowVERIFIED Matt was the best real estate agent I have ever worked with. He was instantly responsive and worked with us for over a month before we even listed the house with him giving us pointers on what the house needed to maximize our sale price for our specific area. He did the best job marketing our property and copied or sent us constant updates on the marketing he was doing. Our property sold in 11 days as it was properly priced and very ready to sell. He has also said that if we ever had any real estate questions in the future (moved out of state) he would always be there to help us.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I are two young first time home buyers with little to no knowledge of buying a home, and through the thick and thin Matt helped us in every and any way he could. We started the home buying process in VA over the internet and he never made us feel pressured or uncomfortable in anything and was prompt in all his replies! Even when our lender was causing us grief he helped us push them further. Matt is great and I will always recommend him to everyone!

ZillowVERIFIED Matt is truly one of the hardest working real estate agents I've ever seen. Do not bother looking for anyone else if you're looking in the Fleming Island area of Jacksonville to buy or sell . My sister in law had to sell the property and I live in California near her. Matt took care of all the repairs by helping me hire excellent people at reasonable prices. Its obvious his relationships in the area had a lot to do with how smooth our transaction went. There were times he actually rolled up his sleeves and did some repairs himself. Tell me where you find a real estate agent willing to do that. We could not have done it without him. World class service. Thanks again Matt for getting our property sold.

ZillowVERIFIED Matthias Berrang just helped us sell our home utilizing the HAP program. He was very knowledgeable about it and didn't get discouraged with the additional paperwork requirements. It was a pleasure to work with someone so positive despite several set-backs that were out of his control. I always felt that he was available to help me and that I really had a friend on my side. He was also so professional with the lender, HAP administrators and buyers realtor and really worked to keep things moving. He regularly let me know exactly where we were in the process and I never doubted his honesty, integrity or worth ethic. I highly recommend him! Jill A.

ZillowVERIFIED Matt went the extra mile during this short sale process. He kept me fully informed about any and every change that occurred. He kept the buyer interested when the bank was slow to respond to the offers made on my property. He provided me with rental information so that when the house sold I could make the transition easily. He was always avilable when I had questions. Matt is definitely the agent to have when you are selling your property.

ZillowVERIFIED Matt is amazing. In a difficult market with difficult conditions, Matt assisted me for several years with purchasing, selling, and renting my home. I've owned many homes and have many agents that I've worked with over the years. Matt is literally the best that I've encountered. He is a consummate professional. I whole-heartedly recommend Matt and will gladly discuss him with anyone who will listen. My latest transaction was the sale of my home. So, unfortunately, Matt and I will no longer have a business relationship. However, if I ever purchase in Jacksonville again, I will most certainly work though Matt for whatever those needs are. Thanks again, Matt.- J. Lyman

ZillowVERIFIED My wife and I have moved many times during a long career which involved a lot of relocations. Over the years, we have had concluded other home sales/purchases having mixed feelings about the process and realtor. Not so with Matthias - working with him was a real treat. Because the sale of our previous home out of the area was taking quite a while, we worked with Matthias over many months on our purchase. His knowledge of the local areas, neighborhoods and amenities was outstanding. He took many hours to show us many, many homes while never getting anxious about the "deal" - his complete focus was on finding us our dream home. When negotiations began, Matthias was very skilled and brought an extreme level of professionalism, insight and strategy. Once under contract, he lead us through the remaining steps by recommending very professional contractors with whom he had worked before - clearly to our advantage. After the sale, Matthias continued to follow-up on items like receipt of the deed, homestead exemption and other items. Matthias receives our highest recommendation. Bill and Valeri Work
