About Mathieu Dumoulin

Matt was born in France and after over 10 years of exploring rivers as a professional kayaker, he settled in Carbondale with his wife Kristen, a teacher at River View elementary school. Matt was a professional kayaker and a silver medalist at the World Championships. He puts the same work ethic and commitment to excellence into his Realtor career as he used as an elite athlete. It was great to work with Matt! He was so knowledgeable about our real estate market in the valley. What I appreciate most was his communication and how he took the time to demystify so much of the home buying process for me. Matt was the best real estate agent that we have ever worked with, and this was especially so as we had been living abroad in Asia when we started looking for our house, and continued to live there after we made an offer and during the due diligence period and all the way through the closing. Matt was outstanding in helping us find a home, making suggestions on how to negotiate for our best price, and in the entire process leading up to closing. He was excellent at communicating, which is so important given that we were about 15 hours ahead of the US time zone. Matt seems to know many people in the area and has been able to help us with so many logistics, repair experts, etc. even after we closed on our house. He has continued to help us any way he can even after the closing! Matt has made our transition back to the US so smooth and we are extremely grateful.
