He has attended its schools, worked in its restaurants, surfed its beaches, played its golf courses, and immersed himself in all that these great cities have to offer. Growing up, Matt observed and learned early on that flexibility and adaptability are important to providing what people want. Matt's father was a landscaper here in Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara. Matt observed first-hand how his dad adapted his work to please each home owner. Likewise, going to his mother's clothing store boutiques--Up Your Alley and Full Bloom--he became aware of how listening to and fulfilling people's particular needs became rewarding for all concerned. As the former owner of Fresco Valley Cafe in Solvang for over a decade, Matt knows all about pleasing those of different tastes.
