First she restaged my front room as an office by loaning me furniture and storing mine. Then she convinced me where to set the pricing to maximize interest. It must have worked because we had 11 scheduled visits resulting in 10 actual visits with four offers including two above asking. Impressed is not enough for what Mary Frances did for my wife and I. Upon acceptance of the buyer's contract our point person for the remaining processes (inspections, contingencies, closing date, title transfer) shifted to an associate. We had not had experience in selling a home for 15+ years, and maybe this is standard operating procedure. Although Mary Frances remained responsive to issues if contacted, she was no longer the primary contact and that was unexpected. We would have appreciated an explanation of this process at the outset.

When we stated we were interested in making an offer, she stated that she never acts as a dual agent and insisted that we use a different realtor for our purchase. We were very impressed by this professionalism and subsequently asked Mary Frances to be the listing agent for our property. At no time did we discuss the property we were buying from her as a selling agent. Mary Frances is a true real estate professional. She gives you the facts about expected sales price and thus the best listing price. It can be hard to hear the truth, but she does it very well. Mary Frances then presents and carries out a marketing plan that has shown to get a very high percentage of the list price in a relatively short time (97% and about 30 days in our case). Our home had previously been on the market for eight months without a serious offer.
