ZillowVERIFIED Mary is a Real Estate Agent gem! Buying property can be an arduous task, especially during a pandemic and in a market where everything is selling within 24 hours. Mary exemplified patience, outstanding knowledge, resourcefulness and creativity while my husband and searched for an investment property! After losing several townhomes we made reasonable offers on, were were becoming very discouraged. Mary's tenacity and positive spirit never waivered at a time when we were ready to throw in the towel. She thoroughly understood our quest and continued to bring possible properties to our attention, meeting us at all kinds of crazy times for showings at the drop of a dime, which became necessary in the hot Wake Forest market. After nearly a 9 month search, Mary brought a townhouse to our attention before it even came on the market. The pictures were lovely and on Mary's excellent suggestion, we took a leap of faith and made an offer of $10,000 above asking without even seeing the property. Success! We not only purchased a great townhome at a reasonable price, Mary assisted us in finding quick and reasonable borrowing options when most financial institutions weren't even underwriting investment loans. We closed in record time and still Mary continued to negotiate the purchase of furniture and personal items with the seller and found us reasonable small businesses to support like painters and power washers! We can't thank her enough or recommend her more highly for the excellent service, professionalism and friendship!

ZillowVERIFIED What can I tell you about Mary Barnwell other than the fact that she is a wonderful, accomplished, professional, and caring realtor. We have purchased 5 homes over the course of our married life and Mary stands out as the best realtor we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Prior to our firsttrip to the Triangle Area we were kept informed on available properties that met our requirements through Marys web site with a plethora of email and phone conversations regarding what we liked and what we didnt. But Mary didnt stop there, she also made us aware of options that we were not familiar with but that were offered in the Triangle. On our first 4-day trip to the area we saw 22 homes throughout the region. Each home was pre-introduced as we drove by Marys description on the surrounding environs including population density, schools, local culture, and home cost analysis. While we didnt select any of the homes we saw we certainly could have purchased at least 5 of the homes. We left the area full of confidence that Mary knew exactly what would please us enough to make a purchase and three days after our return home Mary called to say shed found our new home. That weekend we flew back to RDU, saw the house, and made the purchase. Thank you Mary, we couldnt have done it without you.
