My friend and I didnt end up going with the house he was selling but that was no fault of his. He was courteous and polite, even after turning down the property, and didnt try stealing us from our real estate agent were working with. ZillowVERIFIED Should have not listened, should have not given in to fear and waited gpr right buyer. There is only one buyer is not an acceptable excuse for accepting an offer. We gave in and lost. Please check your own comps before accepting an offer. He gave a ton, but in long run it was not right. I give him stars for effort, but our sale was too soon. Family bought into the pitch. We were told that a certain offer was all we could expect. We accepted an offer of $540k when we were not shown a comp of $625k just up the street-with less square feet, no pool, no second fireplace in great room, etc., pls hold out for real best price as seller. We found out later that he had listed our home for $499-500k without our permission, and which was our original purchase price 13 YEARS EARLIER. We have been in shock and did not partake of his offer to help with next purchase. Listen to your heart, if it does not sound right, stand up and be strong. He will get it sold, but Only do it if it is YOUR PRICE.

ZillowVERIFIED Working with Marty was such a pleasure and I know we couldnt have found a better realtor than him. We had started our home buying about 6 months before we met Marty and had already gone through 3 different realtors. When we met him we had decided to try it solo for a while and we were not expecting marty to follow up with us at all but he did immediately and walked us through the process (which no one had done). When we finally found our home Marty made sure we were the first in to look at it and we were able to throw in the first offer which secured the escrow for us. Marty fought tooth and nail with the bank and CalVet on our behalf to make sure we were not getting a bad deal or shafted . Overall, I have already recommended him to several of friends (many are military) and I will keep doing so because its not everyday you meet a person as dedicated to you and your family and their job as Mr. Marty Banks.
