FAQ
1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
The first step in purchasing a home is figuring our your financing. If you need to obtain a loan, getting preapproved (or prequalified) is the first important step in this process. I have trusted lenders I can refer you to. Once you know how much home you can afford, then I can start showing you homes in that price range. I would also say it's important to know your "must haves" in a home . . . the non-negotiable items . . . so that you can narrow down your list of homes to view. Seeing too many homes can confuse buyers. Also, you may need to be flexible because there will never be a 100% perfect home and you may need to think of remodeling, adding a room, or doing that special landscaping you've always wanted at a time in the future.
2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
If you can, update your bathrooms and spruce up the kitchen if you can't afford a complete remodel. These 2 areas of your home bring the most money and is what buyers are looking for. That first impression is also important. Take some time to clean up the yard, plant some flowers, shrubs or trees. Paint the porch or fix up the fire pit.
3. What types of clients have you worked with?
All types! First time home buyers, investors, relocation, foreclosure, short sales, downsizing, upsizing
4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
There was a family of 5 I was working with to find them their first home. Because of many challenges with their financing, it took several months for them to finally get the "clear to close" from the lender. They were able to move in a few days before Christmas and celebrate it in a large home where all their friends and family could congregate. Helping making dreams come true may sound corny but that is what this career is all about.
5. How did you get started in Real Estate?
In the early 90's I had several jobs and one of them was a satellite salesman back when the antennas where HUGE! Many people I visited wanted the service, but their landlord wouldn't allow them to put that eyesore in the yard. So I thought, if they owned their own home this wouldn't be an issue. Many of my first clients were spanish-speakers only so this helped me get my start in real estate.
6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?
I am fully bilingual in English and Spanish. Over almost 28 years, I have handled all types of sales and have vast knowledge about all types of homes, inspections, types of loans, negotations, etc.

If you are looking for a TOP-NOTCH realtor, Lisa is it! I could not have asked for a better realtor. She was proactive, responsive, honest, friendly, a problem solver, and definitely has high standards. I was particularly impressed to see how much she was in my corner, definitely looking for my best interest during the purchase of my home. She showed how hard she will work for her client. Definitely, the best realtor I have had the pleasure to work with. I will definitely be recommending her to everyone.

My wife and I are from South Florida and in mid-June this year we started the search for property around Asheville. We looked for someone that was able to speak English/Spanish fluently to make sure we fully understand all the negotiation processes. Fortunately, we found Lisa and from the moment she was assigned to fulfill our requirements, she started to look for properties that fit our mandatory and highly desirable features. We still were in Florida when the process started but finally, she found the property that we purchased last summer. We do highly recommend Lisa as your realtor, she knows how to find your dream house, tied to your budget, and all conditions needed to close the deal.

The Luna Team is absolutely amazing and highly recommended! This is the second time they have helped me and my family buy. With the competitive market in Asheville, the first time they helped us buy our home, we were able to go from the backup offer to the accepted offer quickly. Our first home purchase in Asheville was pretty easy, thanks to The Luna Team! Our second purchase and the sale of our first home was much more complicated, although, there were some easy and fun parts. We went under contract for a new build and at the same time listed our home for sale. They made listing and showing the home super easy! As a working mother (and working from home!) of two, The Luna Team let me know exactly what they needed from me and took care of the rest so all I had to do was wait. Throughout the sale of our home and the purchase of the new home, there were many bumps in the road but I had the wonderful support of the entire Luna Team. If I had a question, they quickly replied via email, call or text; when I was freaking out, they guided me through the process; and even when I thought it would all fall apart, they were there with a level-head on their shoulders. Thanks to The Luna Team, we are settled in our new home and have never been happier! The market in Asheville is difficult and if you?re lucky enough to bid on a home, you?ll want AMAZING agents supporting you that you can trust. Contact The Luna Team and let them guide your home purchase. You won?t regret it.

Martin and his team were phenomenal at navigating a long and sometimes frustrating process. Martin?s calmness helped me to stay calm. I just had to step back and let him do his thing. As a result, we have a beautiful home that is more than we could have ever dreamed.
