First time buyers, relocations, Buyers/investors who want to flip homes to the sellers who want to upgrade or downsize, to some that need to sell fast for different reasons, being health, job transfers, or in some cases because the bank is threatening to repossess the house and we need to do a quick short Sale. Whatever your situation, I have the experience to help you!
OMG, I have so many wonderful and fulfilling transactions, but the ones I love the most are the ones where I make a significant difference. Recently I listed a home where the sellers needed to move before the winter sets, as they were traveling back East and it would be hard to travel in the cold ice weather.. we had a good offer, and just as we were getting to the end of the transaction and they were packing their belongings, we received news that the buyers would not be able to qualify, it was shocking news because they supposed to be already preapproved and ready to go. On the other hand, I was referred to a VA buyer that was working for about a year trying to get preapproved and buy a home with somebody else, until he was referred to me...we were able to jump many hoops and get him preapproved fast to meet the seller's needs and close just on time before the weather got worse, so the sellers can travel safely. The sellers moved and I took care of all the reminding details to close and by the time they made it to the final destination, their check was waiting for them!. On the other hand, my VET buyer could not believe that he FINALLY was the proud owner of his very own home!
I started in Real Estate as an investor. When we bought our first investment duplex it did not go well. After we closed, we found out that the duplex was not legitimate, the rent was inflated, and being this the first real estate transaction for our realtor we were not represented well, the seller, who was also a realtor took advantage of our realtor's inexperience to the point that we had to go to litigation: which lasted about a year. During that time, I did a lot of research about our rights as buyers and how our agent should have protected us from being scammed. Thankfully after one stressful year of having to pay two mortgages without being able to rent one of the units for a while, until the County said we could, we won. At the end of this ordeal, I told my husband that I found my calling in life...I went to Real Estate school and I became a Licensed Real Estate Broker. Since then, we have helped hundreds of buyers and sellers, I am an active investor, we own rentals, we do flips and we build our dream house; but above all, I have the experience to make sure that my clients do not go through, and suffer what we were forced to endure.
Definitely! After high school, I went to college and received my degree as an Executive Secretay, with that knowledge I worked for two different Law offices that represented exclusively construction companies, After that, I moved up to work for two of the major construction companies in Lima Peru in the Legal Department, while I was attending the university to pursue my law degree. I traveled to the USA to visit my sister who I did not see for 2 years and it was there, in SLC, Utah where I met my future husband. I had to start all over again, learning English, working on my small business first, and later on, attending the prestigious Real Estate School in Belleview WA, Rockwell. I found that in Real Estate, I can apply all the education that I obtained in Lima, Peru. Since then, I have always continued my education to be up to date and to keep up with the changes in Real Estate. in English and Spanish!
