ZillowVERIFIED Martha helped us navigate the unbelievably crazy housing market. She was with us throughout the entire process, from our first house tour through signing our closing documents and beyond. She was very responsive to communication and able to meet us on very short notice when new listings would pop up. She never pressured us to make offers that we were uncomfortable with or made us feel like we were wasting her time if we didn't want to offer on a house we saw (and we visited a LOT of houses with her!). If she was unavailable for any reason, she had a wonderful associate Kim who would fill in. The two of them worked great together and ensured we could always make it to any listings on our schedule. What we liked the most about Martha was how helpful she was with the rest of the process. With all the technology and websites out there, it was pretty easy to find listings on our own, but where Martha proved most valuable was everything that happened afterwards. During home visits, she was great at pointing out the things we might not see, such as areas that need work, and would share estimates on cost/effort required for desired repairs or remodels. She worked seamlessly with our mortgage lender to get any necessary documents to accompany an offer. Once we finally got our offer accepted, she guided us through the entire process, scheduling appointments for us, telling us what to sign or who to call and when. Even after we've moved into the house, she's still in touch with us and has helped make intros to contractors who have worked out great. Long story short, my husband and I are so happy that we found Martha, and highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in the Triangle!

ZillowVERIFIED I cannot speak for other places, but if you are selling your house in Lee County, NC , you need Martha Lucas and her team to help you. Our house was supposed to be a difficult sell inso much that it costs roughly twice the average home in Lee. (As houses get more expensive, there are fewer and fewer potential buyers). Some advice - Hire Martha at least 6 months before you plan to go to market because - if your home needs updates as ours did - those things take lots of time and lots of money.Martha and her stager did 2 separate walk-throughs while we took notes. We did 100% of what she asked and in return, we started having requests for showings from the day we went on sale. Martha sold our house within 5 days! No small thing given the cost and local market. Once you have a buyer list of things the buyer wants fixed? Let Martha pick the people to fix them. They are fast and economical. Martha had it sold so fast that we had to scramble for the movers etc (and I would have said we were in great shape).
