ZillowVERIFIED Marta went above and beyond to make sure I bought a home before my rental lease was up. She got me into new house listings immediately and worked with selling agents to ensure I had a good chance after putting in offers. Marta was available when I needed her and gave great insight during showings. I found an amazing home because of her! I would highly recommend.

ZillowVERIFIED Most people watch reality TV and think real estate is a walk in the park. Accepting a position at the university here was a huge change for me and my family. When we met Marta, we immediately felt she had our best interests at heart and genuinely wanted to help us make the right decisions. The questions she asked and the things she encouraged us to consider really empowered us to make informed choices. Our particular home purchase came with a majoraEUR"almost catastrophicaEUR"event just before closing. When I was overwhelmed and unsure how to proceed, Marta stepped in with professionalism and grace. She guided us through every detail and helped us navigate the issue with confidence and clarity. Not only did she negotiate a great deal up front, but she also secured a resolution that I couldnt be happier with. I dont know how you do it, MartaaEUR"but thank you for everything! Highly recommend Marta to anyone navigating a real estate sale.

ZillowVERIFIED After working with Marta, Ive been inspired to continue learning about real estate investing, rental properties, and property management. My interest in real estate really started during the process of purchasing our home here in Duluth, Minnesota. My husband and I have been in the U.S. for just over three years, and as educators, we deeply value continued learning. Our home purchase was far from simple. A major issue arose just before closingaEUR"one that could have caused serious damage to the property. What could have been an extremely stressful and overwhelming experience was handled with calm and confidence by Marta. She walked us through every step with clarity and professionalism. Watching her manage the situation with such grace was incredibly inspiring. I honestly dont think most people could do what she does. I would highly recommend having her on your side as your agent. Thank You

ZillowVERIFIED Marta Swierc was a godsend. I can not say enough good things about her. The selling of my house was a little more complicated with having work done on it, and living out of state. When I say this girl went above and beyond I truly mean it. From the number of times she stopped at my property to ensure that things were going to plan, to the connections she had in the community to help prep the house for sale was remarkable. Need a new garage door? She had a guy for that, new carpet, has a guy for that as well as many other things. They people she works with. were all professional, quick, and very reasonably priced. As for Marta herself, her communication was impeccable my life is pretty busy so I didn't have the luxury of communicating during what most would consider normal business hours. Whether it was a early morning call or a late afternoon she was always there and able to put my mind at ease with everything. I had used a different realtor when I had initially bought the property in 2019 and it was a little bit more of a hassle than I had anticipated. This go around with selling though was not the case. I attribute that directly to Marta, her knowledge of real estate, her professionalism, and the team she has surrounding her. I ended up getting more from the sale of my property than I initially anticipated and it sold faster than I would have imagined. Whether you are buying or selling a property, look to her and her team at DeCaro real estate. They will go above and beyond any other real estate team in the northland.

ZillowVERIFIED As an out-of-towner looking for a house in Duluth, it was a long slog for me, but Marta managed to help me stay on top of things throughout it all. She went the extra mile for me repeatedly, making a stressful process much less stressful. It benefited me immensely to tap into her intimate knowledge of Duluth. And, her solid grounding in home construction was really valuable in identifying problems I might not have noticed on my own. She was also able to explain clearly and concisely how the home buying process worked and what the next step would be. On top of her other assets, she is very personable and easy to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED Marta made the experience of buying a home from out of town comfortable, and seamless. She was very responsive to our timelines and was easy to work with. She negotiated well on our behalf and was available for questions as they arose. We appreciate her expertise in home construction and all of her local contacts. She has made not only the purchase comfortable but also the 'getting settled' phase smooth as well. We would definitely want to work with her on any future purchases.

ZillowVERIFIED Marta helped us buy our home recently and as you might know, buying a home can be quite stressful. Marta was the best, she made everything so much easier for us. She was the best advocate, she fought for us when we needed it, she supported us when things got tough, and she took so much extra time explaining every step of the way. She knew all the ins and outs of neighborhoods we would be happy in and schools wed love for our kids. She took in everything on our wish list and showed us everything we asked for. She got us scheduled into seeing houses within minutes of asking, and almost always we had the opportunity that same day. She took all of the stress right off of our shoulders. I recommend her to every single family and friend thinking about buying or selling their house! I am in love with our house, and I have Marta to thank for that.

ZillowVERIFIED I worked with Marta to buy my first home and I can't imagine going through the process without her. She bring a massive expertise of the area, properties, and the technical process of real estate. Throughout the ups and downs of looking for a home she was there to keep me motivated and objective. That meant explaining out all the terms, teaching me things about the older style homes I was looking at, and making sure I walked into open houses and agreements empowered and knowledgeable. Marta has an extensive network of contractors, and service providers. When working with an inspector he told me, "You're working with the best real estate agent in the City, Marta is truly so talented." If you are looking to buy or sell, Marta will get to know your preferences, situation, and timeline and strategically find you a home that fits your needs. I am in love with my first home and don't think I would so overjoyed at the process if I hadn't worked with her!

ZillowVERIFIED 5 stars simply is not enough for this lady. I have worked with Marta on multiple occasions throughout the years. Buying, looking, selling, etc. To say I have thrown her for a few loops is an understatement. She takes each loop with ease and grace. She is extremely knowledgeable in multiple avenues, calm, professional, understanding, and supportive. I would gladly go back to Marta time and time again. Hands down.

ZillowVERIFIED I asked Marta to help me buy a house. I was a home-buying noob who didn't know anything about anything. We found a house I liked and then my job was pretty much done. I basically just watched from the sidelines while she worked her magic; navigating the mazes of real estate; peeling back the layers of red tape that had once restricted me. It was a difficult game that was played on easy mode, thanks to Marta! 10/10 would buy a house again, except probably not, because I like this house.

ZillowVERIFIED We had a great experience working with Marta. She helped us avoid first-time pitfalls when searching for a house, including letting us know what maintenance items and hazards to watch for and steering us away from properties that would have been trouble to maintain. She helped negotiate costs down when maintenance items were discovered so we could save for those repairs. Marta was consistently available when we needed information or advice.

ZillowVERIFIED I would HIGHLY recommend Marta to anyone in search of buying a home AND listing their home. My family and I moved out of state to Duluth, in the midst of the most competitive time in real estate history. (2021) We could not make it to see houses in person, and only had a few weeks to find a home. Our chances were slim, but luckily we found Marta. Any home we wanted to see shed make it there that day, sometimes within the hour. She was very honest about the homes we were looking at, and had our best interest in mind. She valued what we needed as a family and what was best for us over a quick sale. We ended up finding our dream home thanks to Marta and her hard work, and networking with other realtors. A year later a family emergency came up and we had to move out state. At once again, a very difficult time in real estate. (Summer 2022) Marta came over the day we called her, and began the listing process. The photographer was there the next day, and the house was listed the following. Once again, thanks to her tenacity our home had an offer ONE DAY after it was listed. Marta has always been honest, and hardworking for our family and I know she will be for yours too. She goes above and beyond communicating with us, even on late nights, shes there! My family is forever grateful to have known Marta and for all that shes done for us. - the Hopsons

ZillowVERIFIED Could not recommend Marta enough to anyone that is looking for a home in the Duluth area. I tend to be very impatient so Marta was great agent to have on my side to making a great decision on a home to purchase. Her honesty was greatly appreciated as if she saw something I did not she called it out and made sure I understood why it could be a hassle. She was a great partner that was looking to make best decision for me and my goals in the long run! She always made time to go to showings any day/anytime and we went on many showings so that was greatly appreciated. Can't recommend her enough I could praise and praise but if you want a great partner in looking for your next home/whatever real estate related you can't go wrong with Marta.

ZillowVERIFIED We can't say enough about how awesome Marta is to work with! We decided to start looking for a new home somewhat on a whim, and from day 1 Marta was ready to tackle anything we threw at her. She was an absolute delight to work with on selling our old house, and just as great when it came to helping us find our forever home. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure everything went smoothly and when the day came that we had both closings in one day, she again was so on the ball to make sure everything went well. We hope to never have to be in the market again for a new house, but if we ever are Marta will be our first call and we won't hesitate to recommend her to anyone we know looking to buy or sell!
