Even with the knowledge that it was unlikely we would even ultimately sell, Marlene listed the home, worked very hard for us from day one, and was able to get us a full asking price offer for our home. We ended up declining the offer and staying in our home, but Marlene was gracious and friendly through it all. The house I sold was underwater and antiquated, it took nearly two years to sell, largely because I was stubborn about reducing the price when advised to do so. Marlene and Jayne were always promptly responsive, patient and informative. They worked hard for me, holding a number of open house events and offering to do more if I wished. They carefully protected my privacy and facilitated the many showings that took place. I have bought and sold a number of homes in Bergen and Monmouth counties over the years. I never worked with a broker as knowledgeable and professional as Marlene Ginsburg. And Jayne had the patience of a saint in helping me find my new home. Both Marlene and Jayne were adamant on listing the home in January during the coldest month of the year. This was the BEST advice we were given and to pass on to others. We closed in April 2019, listed it in January 2019. Their advice in staging the home, reasonable offer price, and guidance dealing with potential buyers was invaluable and led to a quick sale.
