ZillowVERIFIED My experience with Marla as my realtor was absolutely outstanding. I bought my first house in December of 2020 when the market for buyers was downright terrifying. Marla was there every step of the way. She really identified exactly what I was looking for and listened to every word I said. The minute a new house hit the market she was ready to coordinate with the sellers and got me in to see the house every time. (This was particularly impressive because houses at that time were selling in a mater of days). She was honest with every house we looked at. She never tried to sell a house that wasnt right and I could tell she genuinely wanted to find me the perfect house, and she did. But the most wonderful part of working with her was that I could tell she absolutely loves her job. She has a passion when it comes to houses and their design and structure. Whenever we came across a nice house she would get just as excited as I was. She had all the patience in the world when it came to my search. Her honesty guided me to the perfect house I live in today. She kept a positive attitude the whole time and I was never discouraged when my offers were outbid. The market was crazy and Marla kept me positive and focused on making smart choices when it came to the biggest purchase I have ever made. Marla was always so helpful when it came every detail of the entire process. She was able to get the services we needed when we had to do small repairs or just get the lawn mowed, and whatever help we needed was always reasonably priced. ZillowVERIFIED We were referred to Marla by a friend who recently bought a home in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Marla was nothing short of outstanding, going above and beyond the call of duty, throughout the entire buying process. We were looking to buy a home in Rhode Island and needed to look for homes within a very narrow time frame (one weekend), as we were living out-of-state at the time. She took an entire weekend on very short notice to plan a whirlwind tour of many homes and open houses in the East Greenwich/North Kingstown area. When we found the home we wanted to buy, she was extraordinarily helpful in negotiating and was incredibly patient with us as we made offers on the house, competing with another buyer. (Marla also informed us throughout the process that had the offer not been accepted, she would call other homeowners in the neighborhood and see if they would be willing to sell. She used this strategy for our friends in Lincoln to help land them a house. Amazing!) Once our offer was accepted, Marla further helped us by connecting us with an excellent inspector who was somehow able to inspect the home while we were still in the area. During the next few months while we were preparing to make the move, Marla was incredible with working with the sellers agent and coordinating appointments, money transfers, and other logistics. She also sat in the home for an entire day when house cleaners came. Not many real estate agents would go to those lengths to help their clients out. Above all, she is a kind, personable, and professional person, which made working with her an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We highly recommend Marla for anyone looking to buy a home in Rhode Island. I cannot say enough about her abilities and dedication to her clients. She is an amazing real estate agent!
